A warmth enveloped Hongjoong's lips, jolting him awake with a gasp. He coughed violently, salty water rushing out of his throat and mouth, leaving him sputtering and disoriented.

Hongjoong's eyes fluttered open, his vision blurred and disoriented as he coughed and gasped for air. He could feel the warmth of Hypaxia's lips against his, her hands pressing firmly on his chest as she continued to administer CPR. Slowly, the fog lifted from his mind, replaced by a rush of panic and adrenaline as he struggled to regain his bearings in the dark, swirling depths of the ocean.

"Hongjoong," Hypaxia breathed out his name, relief evident in her voice as she immediately embraced him, her arms wrapping tightly around his shivering form.

"Where are we?" Hongjoong's voice was hoarse and disoriented as he glanced around the darkened room, unable to discern even a glimmer of light from the moon outside.

The jailroom of Davy Jones's ship was a chamber of gloom and despair, its walls coated in a layer of dank moisture that seemed to seep through the very stone. The air was heavy with the scent of salt and decay, a constant reminder of the ship's nautical domain.

Dimly lit lanterns flickered sporadically, casting eerie shadows that danced across the uneven walls.

The room itself was cramped and suffocating, with rusted iron bars forming a cage-like enclosure that imprisoned its occupants. The floor was littered with damp straw and debris, while the occasional rat scurried across the cold stone floor.

Despite the darkness, the sound of water lapping against the hull outside echoed faintly through the chamber, a constant reminder of their dire situation. In this desolate place, hope seemed like a distant memory, lost amidst the oppressive atmosphere of captivity.

With a painful groan, Hongjoong sat up, supported by Hypaxia, as blood began to pour endlessly from his nose.

Hypaxia's expression shifted from concern to confusion and fear as she confronted him.
"Were you one of the devil fruit consumers?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Hongjoong chuckled lightly, coughing as he held her hand in his larger ones. "The last one remaining," he admitted, his voice tinged with resignation.

Panic surged through Hypaxia as she recalled the reason she became a pirate in the first place - to meet her mother. And the only way she could achieve that was by consuming the soulful essence of the last devil fruit consumer.

"And you're dying?!" she asked again, her voice quivering with fear and desperation as she remembered the dire side effects of such consumption.

Hongjoong nodded solemnly, his gaze meeting hers with a mixture of resignation and determination.

"Yes," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper amidst the darkness of their confinement.

"The power of the devil fruit is slowly consuming me from within."

Hypaxia felt a lump form in her throat as she struggled to contain her emotions. She couldn't bear the thought of losing him, not after everything they had been through together.

"We'll find a way to save you," she said, her voice trembling with resolve. "I won't let you die, Joong. I promise."

Hypaxia stood up trying to find a way to exit the jail while Hongjoong kept his eyes closed, his ragged breaths echoing through the dark jail

"Xia.." Hongjoong lowly murmured with his eyes closed as Hypaxia walked towards him

"Yes?" She softly asked

"Im dying my love, you cant save me. If this might be the last time im alive i would rather be in your embrace than waste our time trying to escape"

Hypaxia's heart shattered at his words, the weight of his confession crashing down on her like a tidal wave. Tears welled up in her eyes as she approached him, her steps heavy with sorrow.

"Captain," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I can't bear to lose you."

She knelt beside him, her hand reaching out to touch his cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath her fingertips. Hongjoong's eyes remained closed, his breaths labored and ragged."I don't want to leave you," she choked out, her voice thick with tears. "I can't imagine a world without you in it."

Hongjoong opened his eyes, and even in the dim light of their prison, she could see the pain and love reflected in his gaze.

"Then stay with me," he pleaded, his voice barely a whisper. "Hold me, Hypaxia. Let me feel your love until the end."

Hypaxia nodded, her vision blurred with tears as she gently embraced him, holding him close with all the tenderness she could muster. She buried her face in his chest, feeling the rise and fall of his breaths, each one a painful reminder of his fading strength.

They remained like that for what felt like an eternity, lost in their shared sorrow and love. In the silence of the jail, their hearts beat as one, a bittersweet melody of love and loss.

"I love you, Hongjoong," Hypaxia whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of their intertwined breaths.

"I love you too, Hypaxia," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "Always and forever."And in that moment, surrounded by darkness and uncertainty, they found solace in each other's arms, clinging to the fleeting moments of their love as the world around them faded away.

"Our crew will find us, I promise," Hypaxia whispered, her voice trembling with the weight of uncertainty as she pressed a light kiss on his neck.

"i fear they might be late, my lady," Hongjoong replied, his tone heavy with resignation.

"I need to stab his heart before dying," Hongjoong murmured with closed eyes."You don't have to stress yourself out, Captain," Hypaxia replied, her voice filled with concern and love as she gently stroked his cheek.

"No my love, i HAVE to do it, it's my destiny and if i don't i might put the whole posterity at risk" Hongjoong replied as he stood up with determination and wobbling legs

Hongjoong's resolve shone in his eyes despite his weakened state. With shaky steps, he moved towards the cell door, his determination driving him forward despite the odds stacked against him. Hypaxia watched him with a mixture of concern and admiration, knowing that he was risking everything to fulfill his destiny.
