Not what he anticipated

As the first rays of dawn erupted from beneath the sea, painting the sky in hues of gold and pink, Seonghwa maintained a steady hand on the helm of the ship. Beside him, Wooyoung, the first to awaken, sat on the deck, his gaze fixed on the morning sky.

The seas had grown increasingly tumultuous, the once teeming waters now eerily silent and devoid of life. No fishes darted beneath the waves, and no other sailors crossed paths with the Black Pearl. It was as if the ocean itself had fallen silent, a foreboding sign that Seonghwa was indeed sailing towards the right destination.

Despite the growing intensity of the storm brewing around them, Seonghwa remained resolute, his determination unwavering as he guided the ship through the turbulent waters. With each passing moment, the sense of urgency weighed heavily upon him, driving him forward toward the elusive shores of Aruna Reed.

As the black pearl cut through the waves, Seonghwa couldn't shake the feeling that they were on the cusp of something momentous, something that would forever alter the course of their journey. And with the first light of dawn illuminating their path, he pressed on, fueled by the hope of finding Maia Dalma and saving their captain before it was too late.

"The weather is so nice, I love thunderstorm-like clouds," Wooyoung remarked, his voice filled with a sense of awe at the sight before him.

Seonghwa chuckled softly, casting a glance at the darkening clouds on the horizon. "When the thunderstorm isn't out to kill you, it can be quite pleasant," he replied wryly, acknowledging the unpredictable nature of the weather they faced.

Despite the looming threat of the storm, there was a strange beauty in the churning clouds and the crackle of electricity in the air. It was a reminder of the raw power of nature, both fearsome and mesmerizing in equal measure.

"Woo, can you fold the sails? If the lightning hits them, they'll burn away and we're done for," Seonghwa said, his tone urgent as he glanced at the ominous clouds overhead.

"On it," Wooyoung replied, his expression serious as he sprang into action. With practiced hands, he swiftly climbed the main mast and began to carefully fold the sails, ensuring they were secured and protected from the impending storm.

As the winds howled and the waves crashed against the hull of the ship, Wooyoung worked with determined efficiency, his movements precise despite the chaos surrounding them. Each fold of the sail was executed with care

The ship rocked harshly as a wave struck its hull, sending Seonghwa and Wooyoung stumbling against the railing. With a sense of urgency, Seonghwa quickly regained his footing and scanned the horizon, his eyes widening in alarm at the sight before him.

"Glaciers on the horizon," he said urgently, his voice barely audible above the roar of the storm.

Wooyoung's eyes widened in alarm as he followed Seonghwa's gaze, his heart sinking at the looming danger ahead. Without hesitation, he nodded in understanding.

"I'll wake the others up. We might need all hands on deck for this," Wooyoung replied, his voice firm despite the tremor of fear that gripped him.

But It wasn't the glaciers that filled him with dread, but the Huitzilopochtli flying above the sky, his imposing figures casting dark shadows over the tumultuous sea.

"Oh dear..." Seonghwa breathed his voice barely a whisper as he beheld the ominous sight before him.

His mind raced with the implications of their presence. The Huitzilopochtli was the god of war, in ancient mythology, known for his ruthless nature and insatiable thirst for bloodshed. To encounter it amid a storm at sea was a dire omen indeed.
