As the golden rays of the morning sun gently washed over the tranquil beach, Hongjoong and Hypaxia lay entwined in each other's arms, their bodies molded together in a tender embrace. The soft sand beneath them provided a comfortable bed as they cuddled, their breaths syncing in a rhythm of peaceful contentment.
The sound of gentle waves lapping against the shore created a soothing melody, a backdrop to the quiet intimacy shared between them. Hongjoong pressed a gentle kiss to Hypaxia's forehead, his touch warm and affectionate as he brushed a stray strand of hair from her face.
"Good morning. Good morning Love, did you sleep well?" He gently asked her
"Good morning," Hypaxia murmured, her voice soft and sleepy as she stirred in his arms. She blinked her eyes open, the warmth of the morning sun filtering through her lashes. "I slept like a log"
Hongjoong smiled down at her, his gaze filled with adoration. "I'm glad to hear that," he said, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "You look beautiful in the morning light."
Embarrassed she hid her face under her hands "Stoopppp this isn't you"
Hongjoong chuckled softly at her embarrassment, his affectionate gaze unwavering. "Well, get used to it, because I plan on showing you a lot more of it," he teased, gently pulling her hands away from her face. "You deserve to be showered with compliments, especially when you look as stunning as you do right now."
Hypaxia's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of pink at his words, but she couldn't help the smile that tugged at her lips. "You're incorrigible," she said with a playful roll of her eyes.
"Only for you," Hongjoong replied with a wink, his smile warm and genuine as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Now, shall we start our day?"
As they lounged on the sun-kissed shore, a glimmer caught Hypaxia's eye, drawing her attention out to sea. She squinted against the morning light, her heart skipping a beat as she recognized the silhouette of a familiar boat.
"Look, Hongjoong," she exclaimed, nudging him gently.
"It seems our vacation has come to an end sooner than expected, love," Hongjoong exclaimed
A proud smile graced his lips as he watched their loyal crew approach.
"Our crew," he said with a nod, a sense of satisfaction evident in his voice. "Always there when we need them most."
As they waved toward the approaching boat, Hypaxia couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude. "Seems like my brother located me, huh? Didn't expect that," she said, a smile gracing her face as the vessel inched closer.
Hongjoong chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, is this one of your fishy tricks?" he teased, his tone light as they awaited the boat's arrival.
Hypaxia laughed, shaking her head. "Oh, you know it," she replied with a playful wink, her gaze fixed on the approaching crew.
"Also, I'll continue to call you Daphne when we're in the group. Oh, and don't tell them about, you know... us," Hongjoong said.
"Why?" Hypaxia inquired, tilting her head curiously.
"Because your two protective birth parents are going to kill me," Hongjoong replied with a wry grin.
"...Are you talking about Seonghwa and Yeosang?"
"You got it," Hongjoong confirmed, nodding with a hint of amusement.
The longboat halted at the edge of the pristine white sand, and as soon as it did, Soren leaped out and sprinted towards Hypaxia, enveloping her in a tight embrace.
