"Maybe we should just, you know stay here for a few days before we go back to the chaos of our lives, you deserve a rest captain" Hypaxia suggested
Hongjoong considered her words for a moment, the weight of exhaustion heavy upon his shoulders. The idea of a few days of respite sounded tempting, a chance to catch his breath before plunging back into the unpredictable sea of pirate life.
"You might be onto something," he admitted, a weary smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "A short break wouldn't hurt."
With a nod of agreement, they settled down on the sand, the gentle lull of the ocean waves serving as a soothing backdrop to their conversation. For now, they could set aside their worries and simply enjoy the tranquility of the moment.
"So how long should we make this little vacation?" Hongjoong asked with a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Hmm, I'd say a minimum of three weeks. We could even build a small house, light a fire, and feast on the island's fish and fruits," Hypaxia suggested enthusiastically.
Hongjoong couldn't help but cackle at her eagerness. "Well, I suppose that sounds like a plan. Who knew we'd become castaways together?"
The idea of them living like castaways on the island for weeks on end struck him as both absurd and oddly appealing.
"Oh yeah! Go get wood for a fire and to build a small house, shoo shoo," Hypaxia instructed, playfully shooing him away.
"Jeez mami dominating me already," Hongjoong teased, earning a surprised and indignant reaction from Hypaxia.
"What!?" she exclaimed, her expression a mix of confusion and annoyance.
"It's night right now, my lady. I don't think it's right for me to go into that jungle and find food and wood for us," Hongjoong pointed out."I suppose, but what if it gets cold?" Hypaxia questioned, her concern evident in her voice.
"You can always hug me," Hongjoong replied with a shrug, earning a sideways glance from Hypaxia.
"I guess you're right. I always used to hug Seonghwa to sleep," she admitted casually."You used to what!?" Hongjoong exclaimed in surprise, his eyes widening at the unexpected revelation.
Hypaxia's cheeks flushed slightly as she realized the implication of her words. "I mean, it's just a habit, you know. I used to sleep like that with so--Yeosang too."
Hongjoong rolled his eyes slightly, shaking his head. "Alright, I won't pry into your personal habits with Seonghwa. But if you ever need a hug to keep warm, you know where to find me."
"I'll keep that in mind, Captain." She replied and lay on the sand
"What's with us and being deserted on an island together"
Hongjoong chuckled softly as he settled down beside her on the sandy shore. "It seems to be our fate, doesn't it? Always ending up in the most unusual situations together."
Hypaxia nodded, a smile playing on her lips. "Well, at least It's not so bad when you're stuck with good company"
"Indeed," Hongjoong agreed, his gaze lingering on her for a moment longer before he turned his attention to the twinkling stars above. "Not bad at all."
After a while of silence, the gentle rhythm of the waves and the chorus of crickets filled the air, creating a serene ambiance around them. Hypaxia shifted, her restless energy palpable even in the stillness of the night.
"This won't work out. It's too early to sleep. We should do something," she suggested, breaking the tranquility with her voice.
Hongjoong glanced at her, amusement twinkling in his eyes. "Like what?"She pondered for a moment, her gaze scanning the surroundings. "How about we explore the island? We haven't had a chance to see what it has to offer."Hongjoong considered her proposal "Sounds like a plan. Lead the way, Hypaxia."
