Imagine, posting two chapters in one day?! 😱

Lol anyways ya, just a few things: I'm making up symptoms and time periods for the potion, and I'm still using Romilda Vane bc... Idk, either I'm lazy or it makes more sense to use her because she's done it before. You decide 😂

It was Saturday, and the Golden Trio had finished dinner and decided to go back to the boys' dorm to eat some sweets. Harry found a random box of chocolates that he couldn't remember the origin of, but they looked delicious. He was about to bite into one, when Hermione stopped him, exclaiming,

"Wait!" He stopped short.

"What?" he asked exasperatedly.

"So many girls have been trying to slip you love potions, if you don't know where those came from they could've been tainted!" Ron immediately recoiled from the box, having already experienced the unfortunate incident with Romilda Vane.

"I'm sure they're fine..." Harry said.

"Just in case..." Hermione picked one up and ate it, testing it.

"Why would you test it?! Do you want to be under a love potion for some crazy fan girl?!"

"No, but it's better me than you. If you confess your feelings for some girl you don't actually love, you could start dating, and she'd keep giving you doses. It'd last forever. With me, if they see the wrong person took it, they might stop their efforts to slip you the potion." She stopped, waiting for a full five minutes before finally saying,

"Okay, they're good." Little did she know the love potion wouldn't work on her anyways... Harry rolled his eyes annoyedly, before eating the delicious chocolate.

He sighed happily. They went on eating more sweets and chatting lightly for a few minutes, until suddenly Harry kind of zoned out. Hermione and Ron continued to chat, until Hermione looked at Harry weirdly.

"Harry? What's going on?" Harry's eyes snapped back up to her, but they looked kind of dazed. Almost cloudy.

"Have either of you seen Romilda?" He asked absentmindedly.

"What? No..." Ron responded, confused.

"Oh no..." Hermione said ominously.

"What? What's wrong?!" Ron asked worriedly.

"The chocolates do have a love potion in them!" Hermione cried. Ron's eyes widened, and Harry stared out the window dreamily.

"We need to go to professor Slughorn now." Hermione stated, grabbing Harry's arm and dragging him out of the room, Ron following quickly behind.

"Where are we going?" Harry asked confusedly.

"To go see Romilda," Hermione replied flatly, still dragging him along.

"Oh, yay!" Harry exclaimed, before adopting a worried look. "How's my hair?"

"Your hair looks fine, mate," Ron replied, rolling his eyes.

When they got to Slughorn's office, Hermione explained their situation to him.

"Oh, dear. Well let me see here..." Slughorn skimmed through his books, looking for the antidote to a love potion, while Harry checked his breath self-consciously.

After a few more minutes of Slughorn grumbling to himself, Hermione turned around to check on Harry, only to find he had slipped away.

"Oh crap, Ron, Harry got away!"

"God damnit!" Ron said, looking around. "Well, let's just hope he doesn't do anything stupid..."

"No, Ronald, you need to go find him!!" Just as Ron was about to groan in protest, Harry walked in.
