Draco couldn't tear his eyes away from the Gryffindor table, specifically from the boy displaying chocolate-colored hair and emerald eyes that was sat at it.
He was just so pretty.
So perfect.
Really, he was.
He had beautifully curly hair that was somehow always messy, and yet he pulled it off perfectly. Like, really. It looked like it was drawn as an anime, the way it stuck up haphazardly in perfect curls, and it just made him cuter. He had adorably freckled cheeks that would make him look five, if it weren't for the slightly sharper jawline. As well the appreciated figure that only came from playing quidditch for 6 years and being on the run from a spell-casting madman.
And if that wasn't enough, he had gorgeous, gorgeous green eyes that you could spot from across the room, they were so bright, eyes that gazed up from under luscious brown lashes that fluttered nicely when laughing or tired.
And, the both worst and best part was that he didn't even know it.
He didn't even realize how perfect he was.Draco swore that one day if he got that boy, he would make sure to tell him every single day how gorgeous and adorable and perfect he was.
Problem was, he knew that day would never happen.

Draco made his way down to the Black Lake, needing a break from the day. He hadn't wanted to come back to Hogwarts, and while it wasn't all too bad, it was still tiring, and there were far too many bad memories. Back when they were in school, normal school, pre-war, Draco liked to go up to the Astronomy Tower when he needed to escape. But now, he couldn't bear it, even just looking at it made him nauseous.
He sighed, leaning against a tree as he looked at the silhouettes of trees against the moonlit sky, and the languid shape of the squid that was just visible through the ebony waters.
Suddenly out of the corner of his eye he saw someone approaching, and immediately his hand moved to his pocket, just in case he needed his wand. Some people held some grudges after the war, and he was out here all alone.
The figure got closer, and he gasped quietly as he realized who it was. He easily recognized the figure, hell, he probably had it memorized by now, Harry Potter himself.
His hand rested slightly, seeing as he and Potter hadn't even gotten into one duel or fight since they'd been here, but it still lingered near his pocket just in case.
Potter came and stood, not too close to Draco as to make it uncomfortable, but close enough to easily converse.
"Potter." Draco greeted, trying not to sound overly eager or strained. Because in the moonlight it was even worse. The rays perfectly highlighted the edges of his face, accentuating his jaw and lips, and the curve of his neck. It danced between his strands of hair, making the curls appear to stick out even more and flow throughout the evening air. And it struck a fire in his eyes, catching them just right so they appeared to be glowing, as though a million little wands were casting Lumos behind his irises.
"Malfoy." Harry replied steadily, calming Draco a bit.
"Why were you staring at me at breakfast?"So much for calm.
Draco's eyes widened as he stared at Harry, unsure what he was supposed to say. Any excuse would sound sketchy and bad, and Potter would probably question him further, it would never go well. Should he just make a break for it now, and avoid the striking brunette for the rest of the year? No, Potter was far too strong a wizard for that. He fidgeted as he thought this all over, and could see Potter becoming increasingly impatient the longer he stalled.
Draco chanced a glance at Potter again, and in this light he couldn't help it, he said the first thing that came to mind.
"You're so pretty."
His eyes widened just after he said it, hand coming up to his mouth as he looked anywhere but Potter.
"I meant..."
But Harry wasn't listening to his excuses, wasn't paying attention to his fidgeting or embarrassment, and instead he just blurted out,
"You think I'm pretty?"
Draco's head snapped towards him, in disbelief and in surprise at hearing Potter's voice. He blanched for a moment, just staring at Harry somewhat in disbelief.
"Are you kidding?"
Harry shook his head, earnest and curious eyes looking back into Draco's.
"I- Potter, you're- you're fucking gorgeous. Your curly, wild, mess of hair, that you somehow manage to pull off perfectly even though it's so haphazard. Your perfect dusting of freckles that makes you look absolutely adorable, your sharp jawline and lean figure that's easy on the eyes... Your iridescent eyes, that look like sparkling emeralds, and your beautiful, brown lashes- Merlin, Potter, yes I think you're pretty! That's why I couldn't even keep my fucking eyes off of you during breakfast, or any time of the day." Draco finished his rant, suddenly flushing darkly for his pale skin, features turning very flustered as Harry stared at him unceasingly.
And then one tiny word was uttered from Harry's mouth that broke Draco.
"Really?"
Draco just couldn't take it, how did something that perfect not know it?
"Gods, yes, Potter, there's not a single person I know who's prettier than you!" He exclaimed, not even caring about embarrassment anymore, simply just caring now that Harry knew how beautiful he was.
"I can't believe that, Malfoy..."
"What do you mean, Potter?"
Harry's eyes locked onto Draco's.
"I mean that there's no conceivable way that I'm the prettiest, because you are."
Draco gasped, unreasonably loud for the calm night. He flushed after, once again embarrassing himself and not knowing what to do following it. He turned to face Harry fully, eyes still full of shock and wonder.
"But... Potter... I..." He didn't know what to say, instead just letting his eyes take in Harry's features. The brunette smiled lopsidedly, his perfectly pink lips adding to his whole look.
"Seriously?"
Harry huffed out a laugh, eyes crinkling.
"Yes. You, Draco Malfoy, are the most stunning, alluring, and exquisite creature on the planet."Draco truly couldn't help himself. He didn't know how anyone possibly could, when such pretty words were coming out of such a pretty face. He leaned forward, his nose brushing against Harry's, before locking his lips with the shorter's own. Harry didn't even seem surprised, instead leaning into Draco and bringing his hands up to Draco's arms, where his pale hands were cupping Harry's cheeks.
They pulled apart, admiring each other as their hands intertwined between them. Draco smiled lovingly down at the shorter, brushing dark hair out of his gorgeous eyes. Harry brushed a thumb over Draco's lips, smiling back up at the blonde as his face softened. Then, his bit his lip, his eyebrows worrying.
"But Draco, I don't know what you mean- I'm not- I'm..." Harry trailed off, looking in distress. He glanced up at Draco nervously. Draco took his face in his hands once more, kissing his knuckles lovingly.
"Harry James Potter." He said, further getting the boy's attention, who trained his emerald eyes on Draco attentively.
"You're perfect."
