So the song attached is actually a very very small part of the plot, but it's still a beautiful -but SAD AF- song so yea.

Draco had taken up a job as a bartender in the Muggle world.

It was humbling, and after the war he couldn't stay in that big manor anymore, it always reminded him too much of his father. He didn't sell it, he thought that someday he might like to remodel it. But for now, he needed to move on from everything from his past.

As he worked behind the bar, he heard a singer come onstage and start singing Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran. He listened calmly, until he finally got a chance to look at the stage. He looked, then took a double take, studying the singer for a second, before he realized,

Holy crap, it's Potter...

Harry reached the lyrics in the song: "You are an angel in the shape of my mum", and Draco started to tear up. It must be so emotional for Harry... and for him. His mother was killed in the war.. by his father.

He leaned over, trying to compose himself and not cry. He looked back up at the stage, eyes threatening to spill tears, and suddenly Harry locked eyes with him. He -for just a second- got quiet, almost stopped singing completely, before continuing, but not breaking eye contact. He looked down when he got to that verse at the end.

"Hallelujah
You were an angel in the shape of my mum
You got to see the person I have become,
Spread your wings, and I know, that when god took you back, he said

'Hallelujah, you're, home...' "

A few warm tears managed to slip their way down Draco's face, before he wiped them away and recomposed.

Harry thanked everyone and decided to take break, scanning the bar for Draco. He ordered a drink from another bartender, before Draco suddenly spotted him and his eyes widened. Harry stared back, eyebrows raised.

The rest of the night, they continued to exchange glances, even when Harry went back onstage.

Eventually, people began to file out here and there, until Harry was the only one left. The other bartenders had left, and Draco's boss had asked him to lock up, they were the only ones left.

"So, why are you singing at bars?" Draco asked, approaching Harry at the bar.

"Why are you tending bars?" Harry replied.

"You first."

Harry nodded his head, sighing

"Well, Hermione said I have a great voice and I should perform. So, I started playing small gigs at bars. I don't think that's exactly what she had in mind, but I don't want to have professional gigs and be some big famous singer." Draco raised a disbelieving eyebrow at him.

Harry sighed.

"I've had enough fame in my life. The reason I like the muggle world so much is that people don't know me, don't gawk at the 'great Harry Potter'. I'm just a guy. Sometimes just the performer onstage at the bar you're grabbing a drink at. I still get money for some gigs and stuff, even though I don't ask to get paid, people are generous."

"What do you do with it?" Draco asked.

"Well, I do put some aside in case there's anything in the muggle world I want to buy, but most of it I donate to charity." Harry replied.

"Of course, the savior Potter," Draco said, but not bitterly, Harry could tell it was jokingly. Harry rolled his eyes, smiling at Draco, who smiled back.

"So, what about you?" Harry asked. "What has the great Draco Malfoy tending bars?"

"Well," Draco started, "it's kinda the same as you... Here, no one knows I'm a death eater. I'm not a famous Malfoy from a death eater family, I'm just a guy. I keep my tattoo hidden, but even if someone saw it they'd probably just think it's cool. And as for bartending I guess just something to do. It's humbling." Draco answered.
