Elisabeth (Sun, Sep 7)

Tomorrow was the day Kate would return back to our hometown, Los Angeles. We were all going to miss her a lot - especially Patrick and I -, so we decided to have a goodbye party that night. I had chosen to wear one of my favorite dresses; it was a long, strapless, satin pink dress and it had a few small cherries sewed on it. I matched it with my favorite pink shoes, and my purse, too. I hadn't worn this dress in a long time and was surprised it still fit me like glove. Elijah had informed me that he'd come to pick me up by 8.00 pm, which meant he'd be here any minute now.

When the bell rang, I immediately ran to open the door and saw Elijah standing there, wearing a blue tuxedo, which he matched with some blue shoes of his. He honestly looked like a gentleman - not that he wasn't -, and it made me blush. A lot. Which he noticed, and he...smiled at me, a very good move, actually. He'd taken his dad's car for the ride to the party since Patrick needed his car to take Kate, and he also accompanied Lucy with Emily. So it was just the two of us in the car.

"You look more gorgeous than usual today, Elisabeth", Elijah said and I blushed.

"I could say the same about you", I said and looked at him. Although he was focused on the road, I could tell he was flattered by my words. I was certain that today's party was going to be unforgettable

For a goodbye party, there were sure many people. It was, of course, me and the 'squad', but it was also many faces I didn't know. As Kate told me, they were friends of hers from here, as well as some friends of the twins and of Lucy and Emily's. Everyone was so interested in getting to know me, and they were as well asking about my...relationship between Elijah and I, even though there's nothing really between us. We're just really close, at least that's what I thought. I didn't know how he saw our relationship, but I expected he'd see it the same way as I did.

Even though a party for all ages, there was still alcohol at the party. Enough alcohol to get the ones above the age of 15 drunk, at least. I only drank a little bit of beer and wine, but then started being curious about what the other drinks tasted like. And, I got a little carried away because I could feel myself getting more and more drunk by the minute. I don't really think the others really realized that, since they got carried away too, by the conversation. Elijah suddenly saw me at the bar with the drinks and came by to take me to have a chat with all of them, but when he saw my condition, he got worried.

"How much did you drink?", he asked me, with worry in his eyes.

"Hmmm...let me think...hmmm...10? nooo...it was probably mooree...15? that sounds like iiit...i drank sooo many different ooonees!...", I said, definitely having made a fool out of myself by the way I was talking.

"You tried all of the drinks at once?! Oh, lord. I need to get you home", he said, but I tried to stop him.

"Nooo...let's have some fuuun...", I said, smiling awkwardly at him. The alcohol had definitely hit hard on me. He then suddenly picked me up and went towards the others.

"I'll take her home, she drank too much and can barely talk properly", he said to them and they all wished for him to have a safe trip. He put me in the passenger's seat, put the seatbelt on me, turned the car engine on, and drove back to his house. "You'll be staying here for the night, 'kay?", he asked, but I had already fallen asleep.
