Elisabeth (Fri, Oct 3)
Almost a month had passed since school started. Things went overall great, except for that one girl, Charlotte. That was her name, I figured. There were many times where she caused me much trouble, and I sadly didn't know how to stand up for myself. She had so much more power than I did. I was a little known there, but that was all because of Elijah. He was the only one who had as much power as she did, let's not say even more than she did. I felt awful for being such a burden to him. He always had to come and 'save' me from them. He didn't seem to be bothered, but I sure was.
Today was the last day of school for the week. Elijah, Patrick, and I had planned to go over to their house to play some games, and I'd probably stay at their house for the night. I sleep at their house every week, to be honest. There are some times where Elijah stays over at my house, but not as often as I stay at theirs. It's bigger, after all.
On my way to the exit, I encountered Charlotte once again. How great, I'd have to deal with her shit one more time. I had honestly thought of standing up for myself this time, even though it would be hard as fuck.
"Leave me alone, 'kay?", I said and tried to leave, but she blocked my way by putting her foot in front of me. Causing me to fall.
"Where do you think you're going, scumbag? I've been telling you the same over and over again for the past month. What is it that you don't understand? Are you deaf or something? I've told you, leave. Elijah. Alone!", this time she managed to kick me on my legs. It was the first time she was being physically abusive towards me. Unfortunately, Elijah wasn't out yet, so I couldn't do much.
"Your 'prince' won't be coming out any time soon. Did you forget? Their physics teacher always keeps them inside class a while more. She's got so much to tell them, anyway", she said, and this time kicked me harder on my legs. "Now listen carefully, either leave Elijah alone, or you won't be alive to see him again. Understood?", I was honestly so tired of her and her attitude. She'd always tell the same thing over and over again. She never stopped. It was like she owned him or something.
"Get lost", I said, while in pain from her kicks. And it was then that she decided to kick, instead of my legs, my stomach. I groaned in pain. It hurt like hell. She kicked me again, and again, and again. Her heels would keep on hitting my stomach, almost non-stop. Suddenly, I noticed Elijah coming out of the school building. He was scanning the entire schoolyard to find me. I wanted to scream and tell him where I was, but I had no strength to do that. Charlotte grabbed my chin and brought my face close to hers. "Dare to get close to him again, and you're dead", and then she threw me to the ground, just like that. I could hear Elijah's voice screaming my name, but could no longer talk. I could only hear Charlotte's shit, and Elijah's footsteps getting closer in my direction.
"I- What happened to you? Who did this?!", he asked, and then saw Charlotte a few steps away from us. "You bitch-", he walked towards her direction and grabbed her from her top. "What did you do to her?! Answer me!", he started yelling.
"Me? Nothing! Why would I ever be this violent to someone?", she said, as if he would really believe her.
"We both know what you're capable of, so don't play the innocent with me! I could easily call the cops on you, you hear me?!", he said, anger raging through his veins. He pushed her away, not caring about the fact she'd fallen to the ground. He immediately ran towards me and picked me up. "You're badly injured, I need to take you to safety", and he walked me towards his car. He sat me on the passenger's seat and then called Patrick to let him know that I was badly injured and that we'd come home later. By the time we arrived at the doctor's office, I was already unconscious.
