Elijah (Fri, Aug 29)

I woke up pretty early the next day, like, around 6:00 am, I think. But I didn't really care, because Elisabeth was nowhere to be found. I started looking around the house for her but still didn't manage to find her. I then realized that the bathroom door was slightly opened. I walked inside and saw her lying on the floor.

'She must've fainted..' I thought and picked her up.

It took a while for her to wake up, to be honest. While waiting for her to wake up, I prepared some breakfast.

"What happened?" She asked, and I smiled.

"It doesn't really matter. What matters is that you're okay now," I replied, and she hugged me.

"Thank you for taking care of me this morning. I appreciate it!" she said and looked at me. Damn it, she really was beautiful. Her green eyes fit perfectly to her light, brown hair. And her smile, oh my lord, her smile, was so addictive. To me, it seemed like she was the most perfect girl on this planet, although I had just met her the other day. The way Katherine described her, the pictures she'd shown me. She surely knew that I wouldn't be able to resist someone like Elisabeth, or more specifically, I wouldn't be able to resist Elisabeth. And she was right. For the first time in my life have I ever had a feeling like this. A feeling that she and I were meant to be, someday. We spent the rest of the morning walking around the neighborhood, and around 11:00 am, Katherine came by and joined us as well.

"So, what did you two do last night?" she jokingly asked Elisabeth. I looked at her and laughed.

"Uh, I don't know," Elisabeth said, "at least not anything more than sleep," and Katherine started laughing. I looked at both of them. They were like sisters. So close with each other. It was magical, and I admired that.

"Should we go to the mall?" I asked and Katherine nodded happily. We were going from shop to shop, greeting the employees and then looking around for anything interesting. Katherine showed Elisabeth all the possible stores you could imagine: shoe stores, clothing stores, bakeries, pharmacies, bookshops, etc. It was really exhausting, but I could see that Elisabeth enjoyed it, which made me happy. On our way back home, we saw Patrick sitting outside with his mates and listening to music. Katherine ran towards him and hugged him.

"Is Lucy here?" I asked Patrick. Lucy is our younger sister. She is 14, but she surprisingly isn't annoying, almost not at all. We get along very well, and she's good company. Last year, she came out as bisexual, and for the past three months, she's been living her fairytale with her girlfriend, Emily.

"She's upstairs with Emily," he said and I looked at Elisabeth. I grabbed her hand and walked inside. We greeted my parents and walked upstairs to Lucie's room. I knocked on the door and heard someone groan.

"Who is it?!" I heard her say, in a really annoyed tone. Whenever she's with Emily, she locks her door and basically tells us not to disturb her until she unlocks the door. I could imagine what she was doing there but didn't really want to think about it. She finally unlocked the door a few minutes later.

"Why did you disturb me?! Haven't I said not to distu-," she immediately stopped talking when she saw Elisabeth.

"Who's that girl? Elijah, you got a girlfriend? She's really pretty though!" she continued and Elisabeth blushed.

"Well. I just met her so I don't really think she's my girlfriend... That's Elisabeth, she moved here yesterday. She's Katherine's best friend, the one she was talking about all the time," I said and she looked at Elisabeth once again.

"My gayness only has to say that you're sexy bro!" and Elisabeth started laughing. Emily looked at Lucie like she was about to kill her, but it didn't last for too long. Lucie returned inside and re-locked the door, while I was taking Elisabeth back home.

"I really enjoyed it today!" she said and kissed my cheek. I can tell you, I almost died from happiness. I smiled and took my hand off hers because it was time for me to leave.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Elisabeth!" I said and waved at her. She waved back and then walked inside her house.
