Kelli's POV
I walked into last period expecting to see Billy sitting with the boys, talking as usual. Of course he has this class with me. Billy saw me and waved dramatically.
"Hey look were math buddies!" Billy said, amusement wide on his face. he kicked the chair next to him, gesturing to sit there. I hesitatingly walked over to the seat and put my books down.
"How's your face? That soccer hit you hard!" Mateus asks letting out a slight laugh at the last utterance.
"And you flew like five feet back." Cole chortled.
"Not even! At least eight!" Spencer giggled.
"Yes, yes it was all very funny, wasn't it?" I mumbled.
"It really was." Leo bit his lip to prevent himself from grinning too bad.
"Too bad you missed it Billy." Tyrel said.
"I've seen her make an idiot of herself in primary school way more than I need to." Billy snickered."At least I didn't pee on the chairs when we were 11. I remarked. Some of the boys snapped and pursued their lips to tease Billy.
"You guys seem close. It's weird." Spencer stated.
"Are you two cousins?"
"Yeah it's as if you know each other for a long time but Billy just moved to the UK." Cole added.
"Please, if she was related to me she'd at least look decent." Billy scoffed arrogantly. I kicked him hard in the shin gaining a yell from his mouth.
"If I was related to you I'd kill myself, not like I'm not considering it now." I mumbled.
"I think you left a mark on my leg, crazy woman!" Billy hissed, stuffing his head underneath his desk to get a better look.
"So then are you two just close friends?" Leo blinked sweetly at me, trying to enlighten my mood. It's seriously impossible to stay in a bad mood while staring at his smile.
"Well actually Leo, we're-"
"You're sitting in my seat Kelli." I heard an icy voice pierced. I looked over Leo's adorable head to see Olivia shooting daggers at me with her eyes. I almost winced from the coldness but then I realised the pure jealousy distinct on her face, spreading the feeling of satisfaction inside me.
"Actually, Billy is the one in your seat." I stated.
"Billy? Who's Billy?" Olivia asked, miffed.
"I heard my name." Billy said, sitting back up. He made eye contact with her and I watched her priceless reaction of facial swooning.
"Billy...Unger" She finally managed to say. Her face stirred into a mixture of recognition shock, happiness and aftermath of swooning. For a minute I am legitimately confused until I remember about that freakish crush she had on him. WOW! It's been over six years and she recodnied him better than I did.
"Sorry, am I in your seat?" Billy questioned. Olivia blinked a few times and then cleared her voice.
"It's okay you can sit there." Olivia smiled. She then shot her head towards my direction.
"Kelli move."
"Why don't you sit next to me Olivia?" Leo suggested. She quickly glanced at Billy and then back to Leo and then back to me. She dejectedly took her seat in front of me and next to Leo and engaged in a conversation with him. That's when it hit me. If Olivia loses interest in Leo to go after Billy, it turns into a definite bonus for me!
"Psst Billy." I whispered.
"Do you think Olivia's pretty?" I asked.
"Who's Olivia?" Billy said.
"Are you two talking about me?" She stopped talking to Leo and turned around sharply, smacking me with her hair.
"Hey, why don't we switch spots?" I suggested.
"No stay here." Billy put his hand in front of me.
"Billy, remember Olivia? She was my friend in primary school." I gestured at her and she batted her eyelashes. I never thought the day would come for me to play matchmaker for the devil.
"And we still are friends! Super-duper close just like old times!" Olivia chimed. I want to vomit all over her face.
"Olivia? I don't remember you two being friends." Leo said.
"Yeah in fact I've noticed that you and Kelli dot get -"
"Of course we get along silly Lele! She interrupted. I stiffened at her pet naming.
"Oh are you that girl that always followed me around at break?" Billy asked, his face sparked in remembrance. I held back my laugh . She blushed and embarrassingly looked down. This is too good!
"And she would always give you those crazy valentines, remember." I said to him, enjoying this way too much.
"Oh yeah." Billy said.
"They wasn't that crazy." Olivia defended.
"They were better than the ones you gave me." I muttered.
"Will you shut up?!" Olivia hissed, her anger obviously getting higher.
"Well they were. Not my fault you stopped at nothing to get his attention." I stated. I turned to Leo and raised an eyebrow.
"Man we need some popcorn here!" Billy chortled. Just at that moment the bell rang and the teacher began the lesson. Olivia shot me a spine chilling glare before turning around in her chair facing the front, leaving me with a smile if satisfaction.

After last period I went to my locker to get my locker. I then realise that I forgot to get Billy's locker number so I could meet up with him after school since we have to walk home together. Well this is just great. I walked out the main entrance and scanned through the crowds of student to see if Billy was already out there.
"Hey you!" I heard a voice squeak behind me. I turned around to see a short girl poking at my back.
"I have a name you know, it's Kelli." I stated. She rolled her eyes at the useless information.
"What's your relationship with the new guy?" She asked.
"Billy? He's a friend."
"How friendly are you two? How did you know each other before he came to this school? Are you two related? She spat.
"No were not!"
"Do you like him?" This question sets me a little off guard and I glared at her as if it was the most obvious answer ever(which it was) but then I remembered how would she know.
"No I don't. He's all yours." I muttered.
"I don't believe you." said the girl crossing her arms. I scoffed at her ridiculous stubbornness.
"Okay then don't." I turned around and started walking away but she pulled my shoulder back.
"Well if you don't....Do you think you could set me up with him?" She smiled nervously. I blinked at her in disbelief.
"Yeah sure.. I'll drop a word about you." I said.
"Really?!" The girl squealed, giving me a tight hug.
"You're the best Katie!"
"Yeah yeah." I muttered, shoving her away from me. She could've at least remembered my name. I walked into the crowd thinking about what a idiot she was. I don't even know her name. Heck, even if I did I wouldn't try to hook them up. The only person I need Billy to be with is that witch Olivia. Oh yeah, I should really start putting operation match-make-for-devil-in-order-to-get-Leo into motion. Its good that Olivia like that idiot.( God knows why) but I'm pretty sure Billy wouldn't be interested in her. Actually now that I think about it, what girl does Billy like? After knowing him my entire like I've never seen Billy interact with girls. Except me of course. but I definitely wasn't in his affectionate list. I continued contemplating on this until a hand grabbed my wrist and yanked it towards their direction.
"Where have you been!" I heard a vey angry Billy demand.
"I was looking for you. Calm down." I replied.
"What do you mean you were looking for me? While you were standing in the middle of the crowd staring into space I was being raided by girls." Billy said leading out the gates."
"Poor you, everyday must be a struggle." I said sarcastically as we walked on the sidewalk.
"You have no idea what I went through today. Girls would never leave me alone. Like am I that good looking? Billy droned.
"You should really here yourself. I rolled my eyes.
"Your little fangirls kept pestering me too."
"Really what did they say?"
"Well one of them asked me to talk good about her to you."
"Oh, like what I've been found with the boys?" Billy asked playfully.
"No, you know what I mean, saying oh she's so pretty, you should try to talk to her sometime. Unlike you, making me look like an idiot in front of them whenever you can." I snapped.
"Hey it's not me who makes you look like an idiot, it just comes naturally to you." Billy snickered.
"Oh and thanks for listening to my request of avoiding them this morning." I added.
"Hey, I needed to make friends. Do you seriously like them that much?"
"Maybe I do." I stated simply.
"I'll never understand girls."
"Never did and never will." I said.
"What have you said to the boys about me anyways?"
"Besides the hilarious stuff when you was with us, nothing really. Cut me some slack I'm not that cruel." Billy said.
"Wow thanks." I said. impressed that he actually had maturity in him.
"Oh but I did tell them about that time when you took an umbrella and jumbled off from the top of the climbing frame thinking you could fly like Mary Poppins." Billy added.
"IDIOT!!!!" I smacked him with my school bag and he laughed in response. I guess I was just going to have to get used to this...
