Kelli's POV
"Oh nooooo! I've failed my maths test!!" Olivia's voice wailed during last period. What the fuck??!! Olivia's amazing at maths. I caught her quickly glance at Billy before she sighed.
"With exams coming up I really need to improve my study habits. If only I had a tutor...." Oooh! She's a smart wench. Luckily she moved her dirty tactics to Billy instead of Leo."
"If only-" she repeated loudly. Billy didn't move a muscle and Olivia looked desperately at me. I finally caught on and rolled my eyes with a sigh.
"Billy......why don't you tutor Olivia?" I suggested. Billy didn't look up from his paper.
"I'll pass." he said.
"Come on Billy, you don't want her to fail in class, do you?" I said.
"It's not like it's my concern." Billy snorted.
"But if she fails a class, she has to stay back for another year!" I persisted.
"Good, she can keep you company." Billy said. On instinct I was about to smack him on the back but I decided to keep calm.
"Are you struggling in maths to Kelli?"Leo asked me. Damn it, he's going to think I'm stupid.
"Uh...."
"Are you kidding me? This idiot here doesn't even know what numbers are! Seriously, I bet she thinks 1+2=Hawaii!" Billy scoffed, obnoxiously. Okay that's it!!! I stomped on his foot and he shrivelled down his chair in pain.
"Awwww Kelli. Its no good if you fail either. How about while Billy tutors Olivia I'll tutor you." Leo suggested.
"That's sounds like a great idea!!" Olivia piped immediately.
"I agree!" I followed. Spending time with Leo for a couple of hours and all alone......sounds like a plan to me.
"Wait!" Billy started.
"So it's a deal." I wrapped my arm around Billy's shoulders.
"Why don't you and Olivia exchange numbers so you can talk to each other every single day."
"Kelli, give me your phone." Leo instructed. I did what I was told and he typed in his number on to my phone and called himself from my phone. Can this day get any better!!
"Wait guys! I don't agree-"
"Done. I'll call you tonight. Okay?" He handed me back my phone.
"Okay!" I chimed. I looked back at Olivia and she gave me a wink. I guess we've created some kind of peaceful understanding for now. The bell rang, signalling the conclusion of the day. We grabbed our bags and started heading out the front lawn while I talked to Leo.
"Bye Kelli!" Leo waved happily at me once me and Billy reached the pavement.
"Bye Leo!!"
"I'll call you tonight yeah."
"Okay"
"Make sure your phones on"
"I will"
"Bye Kelli"
"Bye Le-"
"LETS GO!!!" Billy barked, yanking me down the pavement before I could finish my sentence.
"Hey watch it!!" I hissed, pulling away from him and rubbing my arm.
"That hurt" Billy don't say anything as I stared at him. No apology? Pff whatever!! I'm in a good mood today and nothing can ruin it. Leo and I get to spend time with each other after school. And don't forget that Olivia stopped pursuing him and going after Billy instead which means I get Leo all to myself. My life is perfect!!

Today is the day. Leo and I agreed on Wednesday, at last my time has come! I need to look good. Hell, I need to look amazing. I brainstorm for a while until I remember that Mrs Unger has hit an curling iron! I dash to the house next door and bang on the door. The door opens and Mrs Unger appears right in front of me.
"Oh hello. come in darling." Mrs Unger stepped aside and widened the door for me to come inside.
"Hello Mrs Unger. may I please use your curling iron?" I asked politely.
"Of course. Why are you dressing up for so suddenly?" She asked as we walked into the bathroom
"Well....to tell you the truth, there's a boy coming over today." I told her.
"Really!! How exciting! You know I met Billy's father when I was your age. This boy might be the one." Mrs Unger said setting up the curling iron.
"Maybe he is." I smiled to myself. I sat down on a chair.
"I'll curl your hair, you need to look good for your future boyfriend." She winked at me.
"Don't say that Mrs Unger. But thank you so much for everything." I said.
"Your welcome honey. I just wish Billy would settle with a girl one day." Mrs Unger sighed, curling a strand of my hair.
"Don't worry, that says coming soon." I assured, thinking about Olivia.
"Oh I don't think so. Back in the UK Billy always had girls chasing after him but he would always be so mean to all of them! I'm really afraid he might end up alone. You're the only girl he likes talking to."
"He doesn't like talking to me!" I snorted with a laugh.
"He probably hates me as much as those other girls."
"No, not at all! He acts different around you Kelli. He's happier, I can tell." Mrs Unger said. I didn't respond and just sat quietly as Mrs Unger continued curling my hair. Billy is happier around me? Something isn't right here.

Once Mrs Unger was about halfway done curling my hair, we heard the doorbell ring.
"Oh, I remember Billy telling me somebody was coming over today. I better get that, stay right here." Mrs Unger said. She set down the curling iron and left the room. I steed at myself in the mirror for a while. The right side of my hair was curly while the left side was straight. I thought about what would it be like studying with Leo like this and I started giggling. I faintly heard the door open with Mrs Unger's cheerful voice.
"Welcome. Oh wow, a girl! Billy your friend is over!!" Wait a girl could that be......
"Thank you Mrs Unger. Your house looks amazing!" It's Olivia!! I quickly turned off the curling iron and stepped out of the bathroom. I took a quick peek through the door at a safe angle to see Olivia and Mrs Unger in the living room. Billy walked down the stairs and met them.
"Oh you're here. Have a seat or something." Billy said. Him and Olivia sat down on the sofa while Mrs Unger went to the kitchen.
"Okay. Open the book to page 234 and do all of the problems." Billy leaned back on the sofa and turned on the TV. OMG!! They can't study here, I need to get out!! Leo could be over sat any minute now!!
"But Billy......I don't know how to do this. Don't you think you can teach it to me step by step?" Olivia pouted.
"Just read over the book." Billy mumbled, his eyes not leaving the TV. What a terrible tutor, I really need to give Olivia credit for being so devoted to him. I checked out the door and saw Billy with his eyes glued on to the TV and Olivia doing her work. I ever so slowly and quietly crawled out the room and into the living room.
"Finished!!" Olivia cheered, causing en to jump a little and hide underneath a clothes table near the door.
"Wow, for somebody who doesn't know how to do, you finished that pretty fast." Billy said as I peeked underneath the end of the table cloth.
"Check it. I think I got some wrong." Olivia said, pushing her paper towards Billy.
"You got all of it wrong. Do it again" Billy said, giving the paper back to Olivia.
"Can't you teach me? I'm really struggling." Olivia whined. I lifted the cloth up from the other side to look through the window. Crap! Leo is outside of my house!! I need to get out of here now but how can I walk to the front door without them noticing? Without a second thought I grabbed a picture frame lying on top of the table and threw it across the room. Olivia screamed and hugged Billy Billy pushed her off him and stood up.
"What the hell was that?!" Billy walked over to the broken picture frame, while Olivia following. I quickly stood up and ran outside to see Leo standing there, his hand raised to a fist as if was about to knock.
"Kelli!!??" Leo's eyes sparkled once he snapped out of his confusion.
"Kelli??!!" Billy stood behind me and looked at us.
"Kelli??!!" Olivia said with a good mix of surprise and anger.
"Kelli!!" Mrs Unger came running out of re kitchen.
"I'm so sorry I forgot about you. But Billy has a girl over!!"
"Kelli, why are you in Billy's house?" Olivia asked, masking his anger with a sweet voice.
"Oh hello, who's this?" Mrs Unger said looking at Leo.
"Oh you must be the boy that Kelli was telling me about."
"Kelli was talking to you about me?" Leo smiled.
"Kelli was talking to you about him?" Billy asked in disgust.
"Kelli, answer my question. Why are you at Billy's house?" Olivia asked assertively.
"What's your name son?" Mrs Unger asked Leo.
"Leo." he replied happily.
"Awww you know. I'd think you and Kelli would make an adorable couple." she chimed.
"Mrs Unger!" I whined.
"Mom!! Get out!!" Billy barked.
KELLI!! WHY ARE YOU AT BILLYS HOUSE????!!!!" Olivia hissed.
"Personally, I think she was jealous and sneaked in here to spy on us." Billy said to Olivia.
"No!! Shut up Billy!!!" I snapped.
"Kelli, is that true?" Olivia asked.
"Kelli, why weren't you at your house?" Leo asked.
"Wait, why would you come to Billy's house if Kelli wasn't at hers?" Olivia asked Leo.
"Billy, why is the picture frame shattered across the room??!!" Mrs Unger asked.
"Kelli, were you the one who threw it?" Billy asked me.
"Kelli, why is half of your hair is straight and the other half curly?" Olivia asked.
"SHUT UPP!!!!!!!" I screamed, throwing my hands in the air.
"Oh and the answer to your question Olivia is that Kelli wasn't at home and since she's neighbours with Billy I figured-"
"Wait Kelli, you're neighbours with Billy.
GREAT!!! THIS IS JUST GREAT!!!!
