Chapter 28

Kelli's POV
The end of the week was finally here as I headed down to last period on Thursday. The bet was finally going to end tomorrow morning. I was completely exhausted from all of Billy's persistent attempts to try and get me to speak but he finally started getting used to my new attitude and stopped bugging me. So I'm happier now, I guess.
"Hi Kelli." Leo waved at me as I entered the classroom.
"Hey Leo." I replied taking a seat next to him. I've been talking to Leo more this week and I really got to know more about him.
"You will never guess what happened today!!" Leo said, getting pumped up for his usual storytelling. He started spilling out his vibrant nonsense while my attention turned to Billy who was talking to Olivia. They were talking a lot this week since he had no one else to talk to; with me only taking to Leo and the rest of the boy's going back off to flirt with girls do they can go with them to the dance.
"Hello Kelli??" Leo waved his hand in front of my face.
"Are you okay? The whole week you've been distant and less energetic." Leo stared at me with a concerned look.
"I'm fine. I'm just a bit tired." I lied.
"You haven't been talking to Billy." Leo observed.
"Huh? Oh yeah, I guess so" I said, I tried to look nonchalant about it but I really did fell kind of.... What's the word?? Empty. Leo stared at me unconvinced. I should be happy now that Olivia is over Leo so I can have him but....
" Kelli can I ask you something?" Leo said nervously.
"Yeah sure." I replied.
"Well...ummm....i wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to the dance with me?"
"Yeah sure I loved to!!" I chimed.
"Great!! I'll pick you at 7." He cheered.

After class ends everyday, I usually head to the library to read stuff for about half an hour to avoid Billy whilst walking home. I used to always love mystery and sci fi books when I was younger, but during this week after school I've alway found my self walking towards the romance section. When I reached the library I set my bag on the floor and went to the romance aisle. My fingers brushed through the spines of the tons of books resting on the shelf. I picked one up randomly and read the first page.
"Found you!!" I heard someone say before I was slammed against the shelf, causing me to drop the book in the process. I was about to scream before I looked up and saw Billy, pinning my arms to the shelf and trapping me with
his body. WHAT ARE YOU DOING????!!!! GET OFF MEE!!!! HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT I WAS HERE!!!!!! WHY ARE YOI DOING THIS????!!!! DONT YOU KNOW HOW MANY SHOWERS I HAVE TO TAKE AFTER THIS!!!! I HAVE TO BOIL MY SKIN!!!! There was so many things that I wanted to scream at that moment but all I can do is give him an evil death glare .
"Okay you haven't been talking to me all week and its gong to end right now!!! Tell me what's wrong!!!???" He said, solemnly staring straight at my angry eyes. YOU ARE WHATS WRONG!!!! NOW GO AWAY!!!! I tried putting the message into my eyes but I think that Billy was getting it.
"Did I something wrong?? Did you find out that I...." Billy's voice slowly faded and I tilted my head to show him that I had no idea what he was talking about and I don't care about his stupid nonsense and I want him to leave.
"So you're still giving me the silent treatment huh? Well I'm not letting you go until you say one word." Billy declared. Great this is just great!!!
Whatever wait  here then. See if I care. The library is going to close in an hour and Billy's patient is larger as a grape.
"Come on I miss your voice." Billy said quietly. I flinched as I felt his breathe reach my cheek. My heart was racing like crazy and I quickly realised that this was a bad situation. Billy leaned even closer and gently spoke.
"How about this, if you don't speak in the next ten seconds I'll kiss you."
