We rushed to my house, climbing in through my bedroom window in the most cliche way possible as to avoid my mother. Once inside, I snuck into the bathroom to obtain towels before returning to my room and handing some to Koushi.
He had one hand over his mouth as he dried his hair with the other, trying desperately to muffle his giggles.
"Shh!" I hushed, while also attempting to quell my laughter.
I closed the window to stop the cold breeze coming in, as well as the rain, although it was pouring down in the same direction.
Shuffling through my drawers, I fished out another oversized hoodie and jeans, and ran off to the bathroom. Once I remembered Koushi was still in my room, I rushed back to my bedroom, peeking around the door.
"Kou." I whispered and his head snapped over to me, a wide smile spread across his cheeks as he saw my eyes, giving me butterflies and nearly making me forget what I was going to say. "Choose whichever clothes you want, just don't wear a dress or something, and don't attack my clothes." I smiled, accidentally winking before running off with my free hand over my mouth and my eyes wide.
Did I just wink at him?!
Once I had finished getting dressed and hanging my damp clothes, which didn't take long, I grabbed a snack from the kitchen and headed back to my room, nearly gasping when I saw Koushi wearing my baby blue jumper and cargo pants. (Hot man).
"I'm back." I whispered, grinning and handing him a box of pocky.
"You sure do like pocky, huh?" He chuckled quietly, opening it as I nodded and sat on my bed.
I stared out the window, admiring the night sky. It was surprising how many stars were out, in an occupied suburb like mine. A cloud moved away from the moon, leaving a ray of blue-ish, white moonlight into my room, illuminating my room.
I became a little lost staring at the sky, because when Koushi poked me to get my attention, I jumped harshly, turning around with wide eyes and facing a gray haired boy, pretending to whistle to my door while holding out the box of pocky in my direction.
I smiled warmly, feeling more butterflies flying around my stomach.
An idea popped in my head and I took a stick of pocky and tapped Koushi's shoulder, handing him the treat.
"Can we play the pocky game?" I whispered, noticing a small tint of pink creeping across his cheeks.
Regardless, he took one side of the biscuit, waiting for me to take the other end before chewing off parts of the pocky. He was chuckling slightly, probably because of the strangeness of what we were doing.
An odd kind of nervousness filled my chest when the pocky was almost finished. It was like nervousness, but kind of anxiety-less.
And then, the pocky was gone and without me realising it, we kissed once again.
I smiled, glad to feel his soft lips against my own again.
I closed my eyes, taking his hands in mine and almost losing myself in the moment.
It seemed like there was nothing in the world but him and I, and that was amazing.
Once the kiss was over, I wasn't left with an empty feeling like the last times, but a thankful feeling as I stared into his hazelnut eyes.
"Lady and the Tramp." I chuckled quietly and fell back on my bed.
"Hm?" He replied, lying down next to me.
