One Big Mistake(on hold)

Careful

I wake up to a extremely loud alarm clock. Shit. I forgot it was Monday, i try not to remember the events from yesterday but thats pretty hard considering I'm not sleeping in my own bed.  I yank the blankets off of me, get up and head to the restroom. Once I finish I put on the same clothes from yesterday and head to the kitchen downstairs. As I approach the hallway to the kitchen I hear voices in Annabelle's room. 

"Baby you need to chill." 

"Just like how you tied me against the bed last night!" Annabelle says through tears.

"Bitch you know you had fun last night." 

"No not really, when you make love you don't do it by force while you're tied against the bedpost." 

"Look I've had enough of your complaining...." 

I look around to see if I can call someone but no one is around. I take a few steps back and kick the door as hard as I can. 

"OPEN THE DOOR!" I command and Annabelle opens the door. When she sees me she pulls me into a hug and cries against my shoulder. 

"Where did he go!?' 

"He left... through the window." She says pouring her tears into my shoulder. Anisa and her parents race into the room and ask what happen. Annabelle explains the events and thanks me repeatedly, she says he was going to hurt her again. Annabelle, Anisa and their mom stay in their room to talk and Anisa's dad leads me into the kitchen to talk. 

"Ok Daniella. Let me be honest, when you came into my house yesterday I was disappointed, disgusted and thought you changed. I was wrong. You are still that girl I've known since you were five. I'm not asking you to explain to me how... this happened." He says pointing at my stomach, "My wife and I have decided that you can stay." When he sees that I get too excited he continues, "You can only stay until you give birth after that you have to go because we can't maintain our two daughters and three extra mouths to fill up." 

I nod and smile. "I'll do anything you want I promise, I won't intrude anything, I've found a job after school and I'm going to find a full time job for the weekend." 

"I think I can help you find a house to live in for now, you can stay in it until college." he says and I reach out to hug him. 

"Thank you so much, you don't understand how much this means to me." 

"You just saved my daughter so I think we're even." 

Anisa and Annabelle walk in and Annabelle seems to be alot better now. 

"When is your shift?" Anisa asks as Annabelle walks to the car

"4 to 10" 

"Ok school ends at 2:05 so that gives us enough time to go shopping! Sophie's coming too." Anisa says and we head outside, I wave to Anisa's dad and get in the car.

When we get to school I walk to my locker to get out my books. When I open it a bright red rose takes my breath away. i grab the rose gently and open a note attached to it. 

Meet me in the garden-Nick

Some people are staring at me as I hold the rose. I am so grateful I don't have a first period, I wonder how he's going to get away with it. I stroll to our little "garden" the place right outside of the cafeteria where students can eat lunch while enjoying a beautiful scenery. I turn the corner of the building to see his wide smile and adorable dimples. He reaches over for a hug but I stop him. I'm getting fatter and fatter he will definitely notice a difference if he hugs me. 

"Whats wrong?" He asks glancing at my stomach. 

"nothing... my stomach hurts. That's all."

"OK????" he looks at me in disbelief. "I've been wondering if you wanted to go out tonight? You know just you and me. I'm thinking walk in the park, dinner and a movie." He smiles and directs me to the seat next to him. It takes me a while to sit down which is very embarrassing. 

"Look... Nick I can't go out with you momentarily. I wish I could but I can't..." I look away but he grabs my chin and puts his lips against mine. My eyes open up but I don't part away. I kiss him back and it feels like the best kiss ever. its different from Dwayne's... this one feels real. A couple seconds later he parts away and I absorb his touch. 

"I know you're pregnant."
