*Little baby Sapphire at three months*
"Good morning!" I scream out while looking out of my window. I turn around and look at the time. Great I'm late for school. I grab some clothes out of my closet and take a quick shower. When I finish I get dressed, put my hair in a high pony tail and add a little makeup. I grab my backpack and race to Dwayne's room.
"You up yet!? We're late for school!" I yell while banging on his door. I hear no response so I roll my eyes and run down the stairs to the kitchen. When I turn the corner into the kitchen I see Dwayne with the kids on the counter.
"Aaw!" I scream while walking up to my family. Sapphire and Sergio are nicely dressed and Dwayne walks over to the stove.
"I made you breakfast," He says while holding a plate of eggs and bacon, my jaw drops and I smile. I face the kids and laugh.
"You guys are the cutest babies ever!" Sergio giggles and he starts gurgling and Sapphire starts speaking baby which I can't understand.
"Is your mom on her way?" Dwayne ask
"Yea " right when I say that I hear the doorbell ring and Dwayne smiles. He walks pass me and smacks my butt. I jump surprised and when I look at him he winks.
"Well mommy and daddy have to go to school now OK? There's only a couple more weeks of school left," I tell the babies. I'm pretty sure they don't understand but I have to make sure they get used to me. Now that my mom and I have a relationship she takes care of the kids when Dwayne and I can't. I've been taking some classes in school and some online. Over the summer I'm going to start some work for junior year. It's better if I finish school quicker so I can go to a close college and get a job. Now that I have kids I have to be more responsible. I can't just let my mom pay for everything or Dwayne's parents. My mom only has the money dad left us so she also has to get a job. These past three months have been really tiresome. I've barely been getting sleep because the babies wake up in the middle of the night. It's worth it though they are so gorgeous. Part of me is happy I had kids with someone like Dwayne because mixed race babies are seriously the cutest thing ever. I didn't expect the babies to have blue eyes I thought they were going to have brown eyes.
"Hey mom," I smile while I start eating my breakfast. Sergio keeps extending his hands trying to take the bacon.
"UH -uh Sergio you can't eat this," I say while getting up quickly to grab their baby food and hand it to my mom.
"Come on Ella! We have ten minutes!" Dwayne yells exiting the house and heading towards the car.
"On my way!" I yell back while taking four pieces of bacon and putting it in my hands. I kiss Sapphire and then Sergio, his saliva gets on my face. Eew. I wipe it off and kiss my mom's cheek.
"Love you guys!" I scream and slam the door.
......
"Girl you just missed one of the biggest parties of the year on Friday!" Sophie yells while we head to lunch.
"I'm sure it was good Sophie," I nod and look around the cafeteria
"What are you doing?"
"I'm looking for Dwayne, he had a free block so he went to check on the babies,"
"Ugh you have turned into such a mom," Sophie rolls her eyes and I laugh
"Well that's what I am now Sophie. I can't just party like you do while my kids are home alone with their father." I explain to her
"You need a day off. How about tomorrow we go to the beach then hangout around town." Sophie says while dragging me to the lunch line. I finally see Dwayne. He's with his group of friends laughing at his usual table. I can't leave because Sophie has a strong grasp on my hand.
"I don't know.."
"OK you'll do it!" She yells in excitement. She seriously doesn't care at all about what other people say about her loudness and excitement she carries everywhere. I laugh and nod. It has been a WHILE since I've actually had a chill day with friends. Sophie lets me go and a walk off to where Dwayne is. His back is to me so he doesn't see me but his friends spot me quickly.
"Hey its the baby mama!" Dwayne's friend Marcus says. Marcus is a Puerto Rican who was on the football team and he is a class clown.
" Dwayne your bae's here!" Spencer says, one of Dwayne's american friend says.
"Turn around dude!" Jeremiah says, Jeremiah is kind of a jerk. He's cute and funny but when you piss him off or just in general he can be a pain in the ass. I smile and wave at them and Dwayne turns around pulling me into a hug.
"Hey baby," He whispers in my ear and kisses my cheek. I smile and grab his hand.
"How were the babies?"
"Great. When I got there they were sleeping."
"OK so how are you?"
"Amazing now that you're here. Why don't you sit with us?" He looks at his friends
"Dwayne you know I'm not comfortable around your friends yet," I whisper in his ear. Dwayne and his friends are trouble makers. Out of all of them ever since he's met me Dwayne has been the one causing the least trouble.
" I know I'm sorry" He grabs my waist and licks his lips.
"Why did you smack my ass this morning?" I start to blush immediately. Why can't I control this.
"Because you looked good. You were practically asking for it I mean you were leaning forward to look at the kids and I just couldn't help it." I smile and he grabs my chin.
"Right here right now?" I frown a little. I don't know if Dwayne and I are dating, we've been flirting and stuff but I want to know where I stand with Nick. Ever since I've gone back to school he has been really chill. Not ex boyfriend chill but like casual classmate friend chill. Whenever I'm around him its not awkward and he's just being normal.
"Yea," he smirks and leans down to kiss me. His kiss lasts for a long time, he licks my lips for entrance into my mouth but I don't give it to him. He breaks away and laughs.
"Alright we'll finish this at home," He laughs and I turn around to walk away. He squeezed my butt this time and all of his boys scream in excitement. I blush instantly as every head in the cafeteria turns to look our way. I walk away fast towards my table with my friends.
"I saw that!" Sophie screams
"Saw what?" I act like I don't know what they're talking about.
"Don't play dumb we all saw everything" Sophie snickers and Anisa laughs. Jasmin has been acting pretty normal too since I've been back. "So I talked to our friends and they think it would be a great idea to have a girls day,"
"OK OK I'll go,"
"Did you tell Dwayne?" Anisa says
"I'll tell him later he said we had to finish something when we got home,"
Sophie burst out laughing,
"After that kiss I don't think there will be any talking involved!"
"No, no no no. I think I'm not going to have sex anymore until I'm married. I want things to slow down again and not grow up so fast more than I already have."
"Smart move" Anisa and Jasmin say at the same time. We all laugh and spend the rest of lunch time talking and laughing. It's about time things start feeling a little more normal.
