One Big Mistake(on hold)

Stay away

When I wake up the next day I laugh at the events that occurred yesterday. I can't believe I slammed the door in his face, how am I going to tell my parents I'm pregnant when I can't even say goodbye to a friend i was helping with math?
I get up take a shower and change into my purple tank top with my black leather jacket and black skinny jeans. once I'm done preparing for school I head downstairs for breakfast.
"Hey mom I'm hungry!!!!" I yell running down the stairs.
"Ok sweetheart I know you"re hungry but it's not like I have eight hands to prepare your breakfast so quickly!" She responds.
"True." I sit on the island and watch my mom cook eggs and bacon. "don't make the bacon too crunchy, I don't really like it like that."
"Whatever you say Ella," she responds and takes out the Orange juice.
"You know Daniella I think we haven't been spending a lot of time together lately." she says while turning off the stove.
"Uhh I think we have" I hope she doesn't want to make plans I am a very busy person now.
"Well I don't, after school we'll do something. maybe go shopping!" She passes me my plate and I start gobbling down my food.
"I'm looking for a job after school," I tell her with my mouth full. when dad isn't around I can act as foolish as I want because my mom knows it's hard to always be so serious.
"Why on heavens would you want to do that! This is exactly why we need to go shopping! I'll buy you whatever you want." she waves her hands while she talks which makes it very hard not to laugh. I chew on my food and think of an excuse.
"That's the thing mom I want to earn my own money so I know what is feels like to be an adult. sooner or later I have to learn to be independent and that also means driving to school on my own."
"So you will be taking the car now?"
"Yes ma'am"
"We are still going shopping after school missy."
I roll my eyes and grab my backpack. "I got to go mom see us after school!" I yell and slam the door shut. damn it just when I need some time alone I can't get it.

At lunch I decide to wait for Anisa, Jasmin and Sophie so we can all eat together. the get released from class later than I do so I wait outside at our table where we always eat lunch together. as I'm unpacking my lunch I hear a voice yelling my name. I stand up and look around but don't see anyone. when I turn around two strong arms wrap around me into a hug.
"Guess who passed their math test!?" As soon as I hear that I recognize the voice. Nick lifts me up and twirls me around, when he sets me down he kissed my cheek.
"I'm guessing you did?" I look at him and laugh, his childish expression is priceless and I don't even mind all the staring faces looking our direction.
"I don't know how I can thank you! That test is going to make by grade increase by a lot. I could kiss you right now! " He exclaims and hugs me again.
"Whoa whoa hold the excitement buddy, you already kissed me." I blush and look away. in not gonna lie and say I wouldn't enjoy it if he kissed me but a relationship right now is not the best idea.
"You're right" he laughs and stares at my face
"Why do you always stare at me?"
"Because you're beautiful." He whispers and takes my hands
"I don't know if I should believe that or say that's cheesy." I chuckle and he grabs my chin making me stare at him. my breathing slows down as I wait for his next move. he stares at my lips and then back at my eyes.
"Nick lets go! We got a game to play!" Some guys from the football team yell causing the moment to shatter. he chuckles and then let's me go.

"He WHAT!?" Anisa screams as she almost choked on her banana. Sophie laughs at her expression to the fact that Nick kissed me.
"Girl you taking this way to seriously! It was just the cheek!" Sophie laughs and bangs the lunch table as she laughs.
"Were you not listening Sophie!? He was going to actually kiss her in the lips after that!"
"So?" Sophie shrugs and rolls her eyes. jasmin stares at us in amazement. I've already told jasmin about the pregnancy and she isn't ok with it but she isn't going to ditch me either.
"Soooo remember last time she got to close to a boy?" Anisa points at my stomach.
"She learned her lesson! She isn't gonna do it again!"
"Well sober she isn't but she can get drunk again and then what, boys do that they get girls drunk. that's what Dwayne did to get into her pants." Anisa says and looks at me before continuing "be careful. if you want him to figure it out fine that is your problem but it's better if no one finds out yet and he doesn't get his heart shattered because the girl he might like is pregnant."
"Ok so I have to stay away?" I ask and she nods, "that's what I've been trying to do!?" I rub my head trying not to get a headache.
"He has it in for you bad then." Sophie claims.
"Not helping," Anisa adds, "just stay away from him Daniella at least try harder. next time you notice he tries to kiss you don't just stand there, stop him."
"Ok so stay away, got it" I nod
"I hope so" she says
