❝Nothing says business like a billboard.❞

A new day meant a new day rehearsing for the dancers as A-Troupe stood around the studio as they discussed the fact that around five strangers with matching jackets on were stretching in front of them.

"Hey, guys," Kate announced, strutting into the room, "I just wanted to let you know that I have submitted all of your names to the Nationals board."

At the news, the group exchanged smiles and cheers with each other as they applauded the studio head.

With a smile, Michelle explained, "I'm really excited when Miss Kate says that she submitted the thirteen names to the Nationals Board. It's just another step closer to Nationals."

"Yeah, I mean, this is it. This is our team," Maxie confirmed.

"So that means that there will be no more auditions, no more substitutions," Kate expanded, letting the group know just how solid the news was, "This is the official team going to Nationals."

Once again, the room began to cheer and clap at the mere sentiment of even going to Nationals - it seemed a lot of things got them excited nowadays.

Continuing, Kate gestured over to the strangers that should've been the centre of everyone's attention, "And, as a special surprise, actually West, why don't you take it away?"

With his signature swagger, West stepped forward before speaking up, "All right, thanks, Miss Kate. I'd like to introduce you guys to some of my tapper friends. They'll be doing a performance for you guys today."

And once again, the news seemed to excite the dancers somehow as they cheered for the tappers whilst Miss Kate made her way back into the office.

"I thought it'd be cool to bring them in and show the troupe what they're about," he clarified with a grin.

No music was needed as the first of the group came forward to start the dance, their tap shoes providing the beat the group danced to whilst the teens applauded them.

Giselle beamed as she proclaimed, "The tappers are unreal."

"I would never ever be able to do all the stuff that they're doing," Michelle added with an astonished tone to her voice.

"I do think tap is one of the best dance styles out there, 'cause you can really let go and just let your feet do the work," Maxie told the camera with a slight shrug.

Nodding, West continued, "They have a funky style. They're performers, and it's something that I love and I treasure."

It felt like no time had passed by the time the dancers had finished their piece and everyone was cheering once more; heavy breathing mixed with whoops and claps filled the studio as wide smiles spread onto the tappers' faces.

"Thanks, y'all!" West called after the group as they tapped their way out of the studio, much to the other's amusement.

"Dude, how did you even meet those guys?" Maxie exclaimed as she walked over to West, her eyes wide with shock and awe.
