A/N: Yay, I've finally updated! I'm honestly reallllllly sorry it took this long but, eh, shit happens I guess. Either way, I'll make this quick. The song for this chapter is Sorry by Buckcherry, but there's no dedication because I'm too lazy to scroll through my comments yay. This chapter contains cursing, and a couple of you might want to strangle me but that's okay. Oh, and I absolutely loved all the feedback on the last chapter. You guys rock!
"I love how you kiss, I love how you sound - and baby the way you make my world go 'round."
Niall pulled back, "That's why."Liam sighed, and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy. They didn't kiss, they just sat there - hugging in the silence of the night, and warming each other despite the chill they felt. And suddenly, Niall couldn't bring himself to care that there was a person in so close of a proximity, that he could practically feel his chest tightening.
Luckily, Liam pulled away before it could get to that point. He smiled to himself, "You don't know how long I've been waiting for this, Niall. I love you."
Niall almost cried, then. He could remember all the times where he was almost positive that Liam hated him, but now he was saying these overly-kind words, and he wanted to just sob in happiness. Instead, he buried his face in Liam's chest and whispered, "I love you, too, Liam."
Liam did cry then, but it wasn't anything major and it wasn't so that Niall could notice, either. He kept it minimal, simply because the moment was just too perfect to be ruined with tears.
He grabbed onto Niall, and slowly eased the both of them down, back to the mattress. When Liam felt the side of his face press into the soft pillow, he looked at Niall - whose eyes weren't quite so guarded anymore. He was happy, Liam realized in that moment, and he can't believe he waited this long to tell Niall that he loved him. They could've been so much further into their relationship at this point, if he had said it sooner. Maybe Niall wouldn't have had to suffer through all of this alone. Maybe they wouldn't have had to make so many hospital trips, and instead, Niall could've been completely happy and healthy.
And of course, Liam was happy that Niall was at least seemingly better now. But it could be improved, and all Liam had to do was love him. It couldn't be so hard, considering that he had hid his feelings for so long now, that he was ready to unleash everything, and make Niall's life absolute perfection. If he let him, that his - and he didn't doubt that Niall would finally let him in.
"Sleep, angel," Liam muttered, and it's not a command or anything. He wants Niall to finally be able to sleep for once, and not be nightmare-ridden. "Just sleep. Nothing's going to hurt you - not while I'm around. And I'll never leave you, so you have nothing to worry about."
Niall believed him, and let himself relax into Liam. He was out soon enough.
Liam sighed, and brushed Niall's sun-streaked hair back from his forehead. He didn't sleep, he just laid there. He had made a promise, and he intended on keeping it.

"911, what is your emergency?"
"I need an ambulance...right now!"
"Sir, please calm down. What is your emergency?"
"It...it's my boyfriend...we got into an auto wreck, and he's hurt real bad."
"Are you harmed, sir?"
