A/N: Oh my god, the zombies must be coming - TAYLOR HAS WRITTEN MORE LIGHT ON! You know, if zombies didn't, like,  eat people then I think that it wouldn't be such a big deal - it might actually be pretty cool. Am I the only one who thinks that? Right, well, on story related notes...the song for this chapter is Come Home by One Republic. I swear I'm obsessed with them, ah. But, the dedication is to everyone because, yeah, that cliffhanger was pretty cruel. HEHE. So, I hope you enjoy, and hopefully this is as good as people have anticipated!

"The fight for you is all I've ever known, so come home."

You see, the funny thing about Niall and Liam was, well, they were so in love with each other that sometimes, it just hurt. Sometimes, when Liam would be all alone, he would think about Niall until he cried. Sometimes, when Niall would think about how much he missed Liam on the days when they wouldn't be touring or performing or whatever, he'd start forgetting what the older lad's voice sounded like. Those moments would make him panic - maybe Liam had forgotten him, too.

Liam had known from the moment he had seen the blonde, he'd fall in love. Now that he had, he was beginning to wish that he had never met the boys.

With his heart beating ever so rapidly in his chest, Liam slowly brought himself up off the ground, and dared to glimpse at the bath one more time. He almost threw up at the sight of his love, bleeding. Liam doesn't see a knife or anything, but he knows what happened.

"Shit, Ni..." he mutters, voice cracking. He can feel the bile rise up in his throat, and he's afraid that he'll throw up again - especially as he sees the blood splatters on his boyfriend's shirt and jeans. He bends over, and gently lifts Niall out of the bath - the blonde's body limp. Liam shifted one arm under Niall's shoulder, and the other in the bend of his knees. "Don't worry, baby boy. I'm going to get you to the hospital."

Niall shifts uncomfortably, and the movement shocks Liam - he didn't know Niall was awake. "No, don't move."

"I don't..." Niall mumbles, voice tired and weak. Liam's afraid that he'll die, right there in his arms. "Don't take me to the hospital, please...I'm fine."

Now, under any other circumstances, Liam would have ignored everything Niall had said. But he made a promise to himself not to do that anymore. To be fair, Niall was a legal adult - he could deny going to hospital if he so chose. And, when Liam took a second glance, there wasn't as much blood as he orginally thought. It certainly wasn't as bad as the first time Niall had put a blade to his wrist.

Liam sighed, and carried his love to the bedroom. He laid him down on the bed. Niall didn't even move as he hit the mattress. "Do you have anything I can clean these up with?"

Once Niall's wounds had been disinfected and dressed, the boy was finally starting to open his eyes a bit more. And while he wasn't talking much, this was still an improvement from his previous state. Liam let out the breath he had been holding in, and sat on the bed.

"I'm sorry," he mumbled, moving his hand to stroke Niall's hair. The blonde let him. "I shouldn't have left you. God, the thing at the hospital, Niall...you don't even get how sorry I am."

Niall shifted a bit, trying to get comfortable. He eyed the bandages on his wrist, and then looked up to meet Liam's gaze. It was like Niall could see the guilt shining in his eyes. "No, Li, don't be sorry. I should have just listened to you."

Liam's heart sunk down to his stomach. He didn't want this - he didn't want Niall to think sex was a bad thing, or something that wasn't romantic. He wanted to show Niall that he meant the world to him, that was all.

"No, don't say that," Liam trembled, and moved his hand back to his side. He sighed. "Can you tell me about...cutting? Why you did it, I mean? Other than the obvious..."

"I don't know," Niall tried to look away, but Liam's gaze brought him back in. "Maybe I was just being stupid. I just felt so alone. I didn't have anyone to talk to, or anything."

Tears welled up in the older lad's eyes, and he couldn't even look straight at Niall. He sighed, "Shit, Niall...I'm so sorry...I shouldn't have been such an idiot. I was just mad, I guess. I thought that, I don't know, you loved Zayn more than me, I guess. I thought that you'd realize you need better than me, and you'd leave...I didn't want to lose you. I don't know what I'd do."

"I could never do better than you, Li," Niall whispered, missing the way Liam's nickname rolled off his tongue so fluently. "You have to know that..."

Liam leaned in, ever so cautiously, and put his lips on Niall.'s He almost sighed in relief when he felt Niall kiss back. He moved a hand to the tender skin of his love's neck, and gently pulled him closer. Niall sat himself up, closing the gap between the brunette and himself.

They've never had a kiss like this one - their soft, pale lips rubbing against each other's sweetly, slow and steady. Liam ran a hand up and down Niall's side, causing the younger of the two to giggle and shiver. The small laugh emitting from his throat sent vibrations off his lips, and the sweet tingle made Liam stick out his tongue to lick Niall.

Niall pulled back, and for a second, Liam was afraid he had taken it too far. "Li...I'm ready."

Butterflies swarmed in Liam's stomach, and he would be lying if he said he didn't want to have sex with Niall right then and there. But Niall had scars on his arm, and Liam wasn't sure if he was saying it because he meant it, or because he was afraid that Liam would leave him again.

"Nialler..." Liam muttered, already growing stiff. "You have to be sure."

"I am sure," Niall whispered, taking Liam's soft hand in his own. Liam shuddered. "You're the only one for me, Li."

Liam brought Niall into his arms, and started the entire thing with a big, wet kiss.

{So this is pretty short but I didn't want to write Niam sex and ah. I mean I would but there are babies reading this.}
