Matilda lived a nice life as human, married to a man she loved and enjoying her job as a school teacher. But when she found him cheating on her on their anniversary, she went on a massacre of blind rage, shooting and killing her husband and horribly maiming the woman in question, then shooting her self out of horror of her actions. When she found out the woman survived, she hired I.M.P to kill her. While there, Bendy suggested her to seek redemption at the Hazbin Hotel, allowing her into a new life of enjoyment and a new love of her afterlife.
