In life, Bendy, or Benjamin Reilly, lived a good life. Being a supportive husband, being a loving son to his single mother, along with gaining a successful job as a character designer and animator at Joey Drew Studios. Though, when the aforementioned manager gained an insanity of sacrificing his employees to bring cartoons to life, Ben's soul was damned to Hell. Going on a murderous rampage fueled by rage on the Pride Ring and soon enough feeling guilt, Bendy made it his mission to feel self-redemption and became one of the more kind and merciful demons in Hell, his power making him an Overlord known as the Ink Demon. Though being ridiculed for these actions, Bendy kept true to his code, eventually making his way to the Happy Hotel, where he continues to have insane misadventures in the Underworld.
