what do you say?

I was hanging out in the local library, studying because Luis was learning how to stop with Hans. "Hey can I sit?" A boy asked. I looked up at him, "Sure." I responded looking back down at my text book.

The boy sat down across from me. I was finishing up my homework about early earth years which was boring as always. "What are you reading?" The boy asked. "Oh it's homework." I replied.

"Nice I'm Jay." He said sticking his hand out. "Vivian." I responded giving him a polite smile. "I haven't seen you around here before." He questioned. "Oh that's because I'm here for Junior Goodwill games." I said.

"Oh really what do you do?" He asked. "I'm on Team U.S.A hockey!" I whispered quietly. "Oh that's cool." He whispered back. I nodded my head and closed my textbook. "I gotta go but you have a good day." I said getting up.

"You too." He replied. I put my books back in my bag then walked up the stairs. As I was walking back to the dorms someone ran up to me. "Hey." Jackson said. "Oh hey Jackson long time no see!" I replied.

"Yeah it has been, so how are you?" He questioned. "I'm good how about you?" I said. "I'm good congrats on making it to championships." He replied. "Oh thanks." I thanked.

"Well maybe I'll see you around." He said as I opened the building door. "Yep see you around." I replied walking in. As I walked into my dorm Luis was sitting on my bed, "Hey your back!" He said walking over to me.

"Yep wanna hang out here for a while?" I asked. He nodded his head and I put my bag down on the floor. Luis laid down on my bed so I jumped on top of him. He groaned as I hit his gut. "That hurt Vivian." He complained.

I squeezed his cheek, "Oh you poor baby." He rolled his eyes, "I'm joking I said pecking him on the lips. I laid down next to him and leaned my head back against the wall. "You live by the beach don't you?" Luis asked.

"Yeah I do how'd you know?" I questioned. "Your mom told me, so I was thinking if I ever visit you could show me around." He replied. "Yeah that'd be cool." I said looking at him. I was super tired I don't even know why either.

"Are you tired?" He asked. "Yeah a bit." I replied laying my head against him. "Then take a nap." He smiled moving a bit. "You sure?" I questioned. He nodded his head and messed with my hair a bit.

I grabbed the blanket and put it over us. I laid my head on the pillow then fell asleep. I woke up an hour later to Luis sleeping also, he was drooling which I found funny and a bit adorable.

I used part of his t-shirt to wipe off the drool but as soon I wiped it off he woke up. "Sorry didn't mean to wake you." I said giving him a smile. "Not a problem, was I drooling?" He asked wiping his face.

"Yeah," I replied. "Man!" He groaned. "I don't care if you drool Luis." I said putting my arm around him. He smile and kissed me on the temple. "Wanna go watch the sunset on the beach?" He questioned.

"I'd love too!" I responded. We both got up and made our way out of the building. I held Luis' hand as we walked, "Can we get popcorn before we watch the sunset?" I asked. "Of course my love." He said as we approached a building.

We got our popcorn then continued walking to the beach. I still couldn't get over the 'my love' that made heat rise to my cheeks. We walked down the stairs and found a nice place on the beach. I sat next to him and put the popcorn between us.

"Hey Luis about the my love thing," he cut me off. "I'm sorry, if you're uncomfortable with it I will stop saying it." He said. "No no no, I like the name it's new." I replied. He sighed, "You scared me for a second." He responded.

"Sorry." I apologized. "It's fine." He replied. As we were watching the sunset Luis kept looking at me, "Hey can I ask you something?" He questioned. "Yeah sure." I replied giving him my full attention. He took a deep breath and looked deep into my eyes.

"I like you Vivian a lot like a lot so I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?" He asked. My mouth dropped open, "So what do you say?" He said. "Yes of course I'll be your girlfriend." I replied. A smile appeared on his face.

He kissed me on the cheek and we continued talking about the colors of the sunset. Once the sun set me and Luis started walking back, "The moon reflecting on the water is beautiful." I said looking out at the water. "It is isn't it?" He replied.

I gave him a smile then held onto his hand. The street lights light up everything, "Lovely night." Luis said. "Not as lovely as you." I flirted. He smiled and we were getting closer to the dorm building. "Here we are." He said opening the door.

I walked in, "Thank you." I thanked as he walked in. "Not a problem." He replied holding my hand. We said goodnight then went our separate ways to our dorms. I walked in brushed my teeth, brushed my hair but basically just got ready for bed.

Julie and Connie walked in as I was reading my book, "Hey you two." I said looking up at them. "Hey!" Julie replied. Connie waved at me then walked into the bathroom, "What are you reading?" Julie asked.

"Stranger in a Strange Land written by Robert A. Heinlein." I replied putting my book mark on the page I was reading. "What's it about?" She questioned. " A science fiction story about a human named Valentine Michael Smith, he was born on mars and raised by martians but comes to earth in early adulthood." I said.

"Weird." She replied sitting down on her bed. "Not really it's a very good book." I defended. "Anyways what did you do today?" She asked. "Studied, took a nap, then hung out with Luis and here I am now, what about you?" I replied.

"Hung out with Dean all day." Julie said. Connie then walked out, "I was at the beach all day." I nodded my head at her then picked up my book again. We all later went to bed.
