I woke up the next morning and Julie wasn't there. I sat in bed thinking about what that cheerleader told me. "Hey you're up!" Julie had just walked into the dome. "Hey." I replied.

All the sudden half of the team walked in. "Hey Vivian." Charlie waved. "Hi?" I then pulled the covers off of me. Luis, Fulton, Russ, Kenny, Connie, Guy, and Dwayne walked in. "Hey." They all said to me.

I said hi back to all them besides Luis. "I'm gonna change now." I said grabbing some clothes and going into the bathroom. After changing I brushed my teeth and hair, "Have I been so blind, was he flirting with other girls in front of me?" I thought to myself.

I walked out of the bathroom and everyone looked at me, "So is there a reason behind this?" I questioned. They all looked at each other and stayed quiet, "Okay." I whispered. "Well I'm gonna go take a walk." I said backing up to the door.

"See y'all." I opened the door and shut it, but I didn't walk away instead I quietly placed my ear to the door. "I think someone told her." Luis spoke, it was mumbled but I could still hear it.

"Why do you think that?" Fulton asked. "She's been acting weird, like just now she didn't say hi to me, but she did to you guys." I was done, I didn't wanna listen anymore. I began walking out of the dorm building.

I then crashed into someone, "I'm so sorry." I said looking at them. "Vivian, what a nice surprise." Rick Riley smirked. "I don't know if I'd say nice." I replied. "Let's take a walk shall we." He asked tilting his head towards me.

"Sure." We began walking side by side. "I saw you at the game on Friday, you could be a good asset to our team." He admitted. "I'm not good enough to be on Varsity, Banks is the one you guys wanna keep." I replied.

"Why not have both, then we have a real chance of taking your team down at the showdown." I poked my inner cheek with my tongue, "Ah so you just wanna use me to beat them." I looked over at him.

"No not exactly, see that would be a perk of having you on our team. You would get more playing time, better chances of an athletics scholarship." He listed.

"I would be betraying my friends." He then nodded his head. "You may think they're your friends, but I see what happens. I'm not blind Vivian." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Luis is practically cheating on you and they all know..." He stopped. "Continue." I looked down at the ground below us. "They all know, but have a single one of them told you?" He asked. "No but-" I started.

"Exactly, their doesn't have to be a but, they're betraying you as we speak." He looked over at me. "You could be so powerful on our team, not being overlooked by some kids who got free rides here." I started thinking.

"You have so much more potential here, you didn't come all the way up here to be on the bench now did you?" I shook my head. "No I didn't, I came here to play hockey." I admitted. "Exactly, so why not play for us. My coach thinks your amazing and can talk to Orion." We then sat down on the bleachers.

He then stood up, "Think about, tell me or Finn what your answer is." I gave him a thumbs up then he left. I sat there by myself for a bit, thinking. The bleachers were cold, the grass still had morning dew on them, the sun shinning but there being no warmth.

"Hey." A voice spoke. I turned to where it came from, "Adam?" He waved to me then sat down by me. "What's wrong? You look sad." He gave me a sympathetic look. "Do you think Luis is cheating on me?" He looked down at his shoes.

He sighed, "I think so." He then looked over at me to see my reaction. My heart broke, it felt like someone ripped out of my chest and threw it down a flight of stairs. "Oh" I replied holding back tears.

"I'm sorry, I've seen him flirting with other girls, I thought you two were broken up because the other day I saw him kissing another girl." My heart really shattered at that one. I couldn't hold back the tears anymore. "I'm so sorry." He pulled me into a hug.

"I guess I should break up with him then." I sniffle laughed. "Yeah I guess so." He let out a small laugh. He then pulled apart from the hug, "Did Rick tell you about you possibly joining the team?" He asked. I nodded my head, "What do you think you'll do?"

"Tell Rick I said I'll join you guys." I smiled. "Well I gotta go prepare a break up, so I'll see you later." He gave me a small smile and then I left. The walk to my dorm made me realize, I'm not upset I'm furious.

I did everything for Luis, wasted my money flying him out, buying him gifts, what an asshole! I ran up the stores and furiously opened my dorm door. The whole team was still there, "Hey your walk was longer than usual." Luis spoke. "Shut up!" I yelled at him.

Everyone looked at me concerned. "Hey what's wrong?" Guy got up. "Don't go acting like you're my friend now!" I rolled my eyes at him. "What do you mean, we are your friends." Charlie stood up. I scoffed at him.

"Don't even act like we're friends Charlie, you treated me like shit since we first met!" I shoved him. "Hey!" Fulton stood up. "What are you gonna do Fulton? Hit me?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Just tell us whats wrong!" Luis exclaimed. "People have told me what you've been doing Luis." I looked at him. Everyone's face dropped, "Yeah, you guys have all known so what amazing friends you are for telling me." I glared at each of them.

"Who told you?" Luis asked. "Hmm, two people just today oh but we can't forget who the first one was, oh that's right one of the many cheerleaders you flirted with!" I screamed at him.

"I wasted so much on you, just for you to do this! You absolute fucking scumbag!" I shoved him. "Don't say that Vivi-" Connie started speaking  "No! You don't get to say anything! I wasted money to fly you to my home, back to yours at least 10 times! I took you to Hawaii! I bought us promise rings, does none of that mean anything to you!" I started sobbing.

I took off my ring, "We promised to love each other and treat each other right!" I threw my ring at him. "Did I mean nothing to you? The nights we stayed up talking about how many kids we wanted, how big we wanted our house to be, what would name our future dog!?" He looked down at my ring.

"I stayed by your side when you had rough days, I dropped everyone and everything for you! And this is how you repay me?" I shoved him again. "And screw you all for keeping this from me! Why?" I asked them all.

"Because we didn't wanna see you hurt." Dwayne admitted. "Not telling me hurts me more then keeping it a secret, and talking to the cheater about it!" They all looked down, ashamed of what they've done. "Rick was right." I mumbled.

"You guys suck, you guys never cared about me, you guys probably wanted to see me suffer." I slightly laughed. "Well whatever, you guys have a shitty day." I said walking out of the dorm slamming the door behind me.

I made my way to a distinct hallway. After one knock the door opened. "Did you make up your mind?" Rick asked. I nodded my head, "I wanna join the team." I smiled. "Good." Rick smirked.
