Today was Han's funeral, I wasn't prepared for it. Losing somebody who helped you get through hell, is reentering that hell. All the progress I had made was now gone. Adam knocked on the door, "Come in!" I sadly spoke. He opened the door and slid in.

"Hey." He softly spoke sitting next to me. I nudged my head up at him, "How you feeling?" I sighed and shook my head. He put a reassuring arm around me, "I can't imagine what you're going through." He sympathized.

The tears started brimming my eyes, "I just wanna go home." I began sobbing. Adam pulled me into a hug and put his head on top of mine, "I don't blame you, it's a shit hole here. It doesn't help how both teams treat you and what Luis did to you." I nodded my head.

"But I'm always here for you Vivian, they treated me like shit too. They still do." He sighed. "Why?" He clicked his tongue, "Because I used to be a stuck up rich kid and then this year it's because I'm on varsity." I let out a small laugh, "You Banksy, used to be stuck up, no way." I sarcastically spoke.

We both pulled apart from the hug, "Yeah, my head was pretty far up my ass." We laughed. "Me too, before a certain event happened my ego was huge." I agreed. We sat there in silence, "I supposed we should get ready." He spoke.

"Yeah. I'll be ready in a few." I replied. He nodded his head and left the room. Adam had left a black dress in my room the night before so I changed into that and put on some mascara and called it good.

I walked outside of the room and then we left. Everyone else was already there and they looked at us both with disappointment. Me and Adam stood next to each other then the guy began speaking.

After he finished Bombay showed up and started talking about how Hans taught us how to fly. I couldn't help but look over at Luis, he was looking at me too. Bombay stopped speaking and Charlie stormed off somewhere. After everyone began talking Bombay went up to me.

"Hey." He awkwardly spoke. "Hi." I replied looking down at my shoes. "You doing alright?" He questioned as we began walking away from the crowd. "Do you want me to be honest?" I questioned and he nodded his head. "No, not really." He sighed.

We found a bench and sat down, "I know that I wasn't the greatest guy to you and I put a lot of pressure on you but I'm so sorry." I scoffed. "Why did it take you this long to apologize to me?" I questioned. "I don't know, I had a lot of stuff to work on." He replied.

I nodded my head, "Ted told me what happened to your dad." I looked over at him. "Why?" "Me and you are very similar, more than you think." He stated. I signaled for him to go on. "My coach when I was in peewee hockey, put a lot of pressure on me. During my last game I lost us the game and shortly after the game my dad passed away. My dad was my best friend and helped me through a lot."

I nodded my head, "My dad was the only one supportive for my decision to play hockey after my accident." Bombay nodded his head. "It took a lot to gain strength, relearn how to skate but look where I am now." "You're a great player Vivian, one of the bests I've seen."

I smiled, "Thank you, Coach. I really appreciate it." He patted my shoulder. "Can I give you a ride back to school?" "Can you actually drop me off at Orions?" He nodded his head and we began walking back to the others.

"Vivian!" Luis yelled and ran over to me. Bombay looked over at me, "What's Luis?" I angrily asked. "Can we talk?" He questioned. "About what? How big of an asshole you are or how many girls you cheated on me with, both could conversations could go on for hours." I seethed.

Bombay looked at me with shock, "I wanna talk about us." Luis pleaded. "There is no us, and as of right now there will never be an us again." I stated. Before he could say anything else I walked away and got in Bombay's car.
