Marie paced backward and forwards in a room. Her nervous kicking in, her breathing becoming faster.
"Why did I agree to this?" She said. Looking around she was on her. There was a sudden knock on the door. As her friend came in.
"Who's idea was this?" Marie said.
"You never know. He might be the love of your life". Her friend said.
Marie looked at her with her hands on her hips.
"I can't believe I've been talked into this". Marie said.
"You have nothing to lose". Her friend said.
"Louise, I've never even meet this man and I'm marrying him. He could be horrible, I knows nothing about him". Marie said.
Which was true. Marie knew nothing of the man she was about to marry. It was a set up and of course Marie said yes. The man must have said yes as well. As today was the day they would be getting married. She knew nothing about the man. Only he was a bit younger than her.
She had no idea what he looked like or even a name.
Same for the man. He had no idea who the women was he was to marry. Within the next hour he would be a married man. He put his tie on and then hit coat.
Marie was also ready. She put her shoes on and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked good in a dress.
Marie took a deep breath and looked at her friend.
"Let's hope he's nice". Marie said. Picking up her flowers. She looked at her friend.
"So you doing this?" Louise said.
"Yes". Marie said.
She took one last look in the mirror and soon left the room. Her friend took her back with her.
Marie walked to where she needed to be.
The man soon left the room he was in and headed to the front of the venue.
"Ready man. How's it feel? Your about to become a married man, to someone you have never meet". His friend said.
"Nervous. I hope she's nice". He said.
The friend nodded and looked at his friend who was now feeling rather nervous.
Marie stood there. Soon the music changed. Marie felt her heart quicken.
She walked down the aisle. And looked at the man. Her eyes widen and she couldn't believe who she was seeing. Her mouth dropped a bit. She looked at him even more. He looked handsome in the suite he was wearing. She still couldn't believe who it was.
The person looked at her and his eyes widen. She looked gorgeous. His mouth also fall open a bit. As the women carried on walking to him and was now standing by his side.
The two of them couldn't help but look at each other.
Marie could not talk and was finding it hard to breath. But she didn't say anything. Her eyes on the Man by her side.
The was the same. He would look at her and couldn't help but smile.
The victor soon cleared his throat and started to speak.
"We are gathered here today. To witness the marriage of these two people". He said.
They both looked at each other and smiled.
"If there is anyone who thinks these two should not get married, please speak now". The victor said.
As the people remained quiet. Which Marie was thankful for. Her friend was also in a bit of shock as well. But kept quiet.
The man started to talk again.
"Please repeat after me". The victor said.
The couple held hands as The man spoke first.
"I, Dylan take you Marie, to be my forever wife. I promise to love, cherish you. And to love you for now and forever, until death do us part". The man said.
The words was repeated to Marie. She couldn't help but smile at them. He placed the ring on her ring.
Marie also spoke the same worked to Dylan. Also placing a ring on his finger.
"I now pronounced you man and wife, you may now kiss the bride". The victor said.
Marie was now even a bit more nervous. Dylan took a step towards her. Gently placing his lips onto hers. They kissed each Other. Marie kissed him back. His lips was so soft. Dylan deepened the kiss a Little.
They could hear there friends and family clamping. And broke a part. Marie was a little bit embarrassed but couldn't get over how soft his lips was.
The two of them walked away from them holding hands. Louise smiled. Marie couldn't believe who she had just married.
His friends took loads of pictures. Not a lot of people knew about this. So for the time being pictures of them was kept off line. Until Dylan was ready to tell people that he had got married.
They had a little reception nothing to big.
Soon heading back to the hotel. They talked about things.
"Ok which side of the bed". Marie said.
"This side is fine". Dylan said. Getting in. Marie couldn't help but giggle. She soon got changed and got into bed with him. She turned on her side and looked at him.
"So, what made you agree to this?" Dylan said.
"I don't know. Thought it would be interesting. What about you? You have women following over them selfs to be with you and you agreed to this as well". Marie said.
"I know. I think I just wanted to try something different you know. I wanted to be with someone who also wanted this as well. Does that make sense?" Dylan said.
"Yeah it does. Your fans are going go crazy when they find out your a married man". Marie said.
"I know. But it's not their choice. It's mine". Dylan said.
"That is true". Marie said. Slowly reaching up and playing with his hair.
The two of them spent the night just talking. Finding out each other. Things other people didn't know. Marie told him all about herself and Dylan told Marie all about himself that fans didn't know.
"Neither of us are getting any younger". Marie said.
"I know". Dylan said.
"So we going to do are best to make this work?" Marie said.
"Yeah I think we should. From us talking we seem to have a lot in common". Dylan said.
Marie couldn't help but smile. She moved a bit closer to him. They carried on talking until late into the early hours of the morning. Soon falling a sleeping laying next to each other.
