A married couple?! A Mitch Rapp story! Part Nine

The couple was now settling into married life. Yes it had taken a few months of getting used to the marriage.

The people after the person, had started to show them selfs.

Marie got a message late one night from her daughter. So Mitch went and got her and brought her to where they was. Of course he had yet to be told of this.
Mitch sent a message to Irene, basically asking her to come to his and Marie's place.
Irene arrived there. Marie explained the whole thing to her. Irene was well there wasn't much she could say.
"Let me see the message". Irene said. Marie showed her.
"Ok. I will send someone to get her". Irene said. Mitch looked at Irene.
"Don't worry. She will safe ok. We will bring her here. Your going to have to tell him. You know that". Irene said.
"Yes I know. Maybe we should do that while she's on her way. Please just go and get her". Marie said.
"Will do". Irene said. Leaving there place. Marie looked at Mitch.
"Will you come with me?" Marie said.
"Of course. Come on". Mitch said.
Both leaving the place. And walking throw them building. Again people would look at them. But then look away.
Marie wasn't interested in what people was thinking about her and Mitch's marriage at this time she was more worried about other things.

Marie held on this hand as they walked to his office knocking on the door.
"Can we speak to you?" Mitch said.
He nodded as the pair entered and closed the door. Marie and Mitch sat down looking at him.
"Is there something wrong?" He said.
"I need to tell you something". Marie said.
"Oh this can't be good". He said. Sitting down.
Marie looked at Mitch. And then Marie started talking.
Mitch kept quiet the whole time.
Once she finished he looked at her.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He said.
"Because I wanted there details left off of files. So if people looked at them they wouldn't see anything on then. And so far it's been ok. Until early when I got a message. Irene as gone to get her. But she is innocent in all this. It's not there fault. And they don't know about you. But now I'm going to have to tell them". Marie said.
"And you knew about all this?" He said looking at Mitch.
"It's not his fault. I asked him not to say anything and he promised he wouldn't". Marie said.
"Well ok. Let's get some things sorted out. We will keep every thing off files". He said.
Mitch took Marie's hand.
"You know you two don't need to act married in front of me". He said.
"Well people are looking, so need to keep it up and well if we don't act like it in front of you people will know something isn't right". Marie said.
Mitch looked at him and then at Marie. He nodded and looked at his phone. He had received a message from Irene.
"Ok. They have her their on there way back". He said.
Marie breathed a sigh of relief . Mitch looked at her. He watched the two of them how they was with one another. He knew wasn't pretending anymore.

Marie and Dylan sat there waiting for Irene to return. The door soon opened and she walked in. Marie stood up hugging Sarah. Mitch also gave her a hug.
"Sarah this is your grandfather Stan, Stan your grand daughter Sarah". Marie said. Sarah looked at her mum then back at the man in front of her.
"How come I've never met you before. And are you the reason I'm suddenly being followed?" Sarah asked.
"Ok, it's nice to meet you. And yes. It's got something to do with me. Your not on any of are paper work. So I don't know how or why your being followed. Maybe take us throw everything and we can work out. Who knows your related to me". Stan said.
"Well no one does. Because mum never said anything to any of us about you". Sarah said.
"Yes I know. This is confusing. Did you take any pictures of the person who was following u?" Irene said.
"Well selfies and there in the background". Sarah said. Taking out her phone and bringing up some pictures she showed Stan them. He managed to get them onto his laptop and looked at them.
"I don't know who that person is!" Stan said showing Mitch and Marie also Irene.
"I don't know either". Mitch said.
"No idea". Marie said.
"Ok will run it throw and see if we get a match back. Maybe in the mean time. Does your father know where you are?" Stan said.
"Well no not really. He doesn't really know about mums situation either". Sarah said.
"Ok. Maybe tell him your at your mums and will be back later". Stan said.
"Aren't we going to tell him?" Sarah said.
"No, the less people who know the better. But we do need to catch these people. Put out all information on these people. Let's get them out and deal with this once and for all". Stan said.
Marie looked at Mitch. She knew this had become even more worrying now.

She knew it wasn't Sarah's fault. Marie didn't ask for Stan to be her father. Her mother made that choice a long time ago. But now she was having to deal with that choice. Yes she had Mitch by her side and was so thankful for that.

Marie, Mitch and Sarah made there way to where her mum and Mitch was living. The person who had been watching them was again watching them. Sarah notice this.
"I think that women likes you Mitch!" Sarah said nodding towards her. Mitch looked but didn't even acknowledge her.
"Yes. I know. But she also knows I'm married". Mitch said. Loud enough so the person could hear. Making them both laugh a bit. They soon was inside the place. Sarah looked around.
"I like it's nice and cosy. Bed is big a well". Sarah said.
Marie had a feeling she knew where that would head to. But didn't say much. Sarah looked at the pictures of Marie and Mitch together. They was smiling. They did look like a married couple.
Sarah sat down and looked at them both.
"How do you guys manage to keep the act up? Isn't is hard?" Sarah said.
"No not really. We have got used to it". Mitch said.
"Yeah. It some getting used to didn't it. Even now some people don't believe it. But we do every thing a married couple do". Marie said.
"What even that?" Sarah said wiggling her eyebrows. Making Mitch blush a bit.
"Oh ok. Maybe not that". Marie said.
"Wait why not?" Sarah said. Sounding surprised. She looked at Mitch and then at her mum.
"I don't know. Does it matter?" Marie said. Feeling a little bit uncomfortable now. She wish never said anything. Mitch looked at her and notice this. He was sat next to her and took her hand.
She smiled softly at him. While he was holding her hand she could feel goosebumps throw out her body.

"So does that mean your going train mum?" Sarah said.
Mitch was a bit puzzled by this.
"What do you mean?" Marie said.
"You know. Teach you how to fight? Train you to use a gun stuff like that? He is an assassin!" Sarah said.
"Erm well him protecting me is the reason why I haven't had any of that. He's here so if something happens he deals with that side and besides you know how I feel about guns. I don't like them at all". Marie said.
"Yeah I know. But he can't be with you 24/7! You two will drive each other crazy else. Well it's weird for any couple to be with there other half all the time. Surely you two aren't together 24/7, are you?" Sarah said watching there reactions.
"I don't leave your mums side. Stan put me here to keep your mum safe and that's what I've been doing. Even if we going every where together". Mitch said.
"Wow seriously. And the other people who are here as well don't find that a little weird that your everywhere he is". Sarah said.
"It's what I've been asked to do by Irene and Stan". Marie said.
"Yeah but wow. Most couples can't stand to be around each other too much. But well how do you guys manage it?" Sarah said.
"It's taken some getting used to. And of course in people's eyes we are still Newley weds, so that is one thing we have on are side". Marie said. Mitch nodded to what Marie was saying.
"True. What about children? I know this is all pretend. But after a while people are going to start wondering whether you two are going to have children or not?" Sarah said.
All this really took them both by surprise.
"You know a lot of married couples decide not to have children". Marie said.
"Yeah yeah. But have you looked at Mitch. Man I don't know how you two haven't done anything yet. He's bloody gorgeous". Sarah said.
"Sarah. I know he is. Look let's see what happens. You know Stan might get these people soon". Marie said.
"And if not. You two could be like this for a few years. You know that right. And don't tell me there is no feelings between you. I saw the way you took mums hand earlier". Sarah said. Winking at Mitch.
"Man 17 year old. Doesn't miss a thing". Marie said.
"Maybe think about what I said about the training part. Just in case mum needs to fight back. You don't know what could happen. These people remaining quiet well not to quiet. But it's enough you guys might let your guard down". Sarah said.
"Not Mitch. He's on high alert all the time. Aren't you?" Marie said.
"I am yes. I'm trained to me as well". Mitch said. Sarah nodded. And looked around more.

Marie and Mitch looked at each other.
"I'm sorry about that. I'm assuming she's just worried". Marie said.
"I know it's ok. Maybe we should think about training you. Just in case". Mitch said.
"I would rather you trained me. No one else". Marie said.
"I can do that. No problem. I will speak to Irene. As well all know how Stan will be". Mitch said.
Marie nodded and put her head on his shoulder. He slid his arm around her waist. Gently placing his hand on her waist.
