Marie hadn't seen much of Dylan's friends. Since one them had put that all over social media. Marie wanted to get the documents read and signed. So she focused on them. And soon got them done and sent back. Hoping that would be it.
She put her iPad down. Dylan was in another room. Doing some interviews throw zoom. On his new films. As it was safer that way for the time being.
Marie and Dylan's relationship was ok. This didn't effect them. Expect for a lot of comments being made. But Marie knew this would happen.

His friends was round that day. Marie kept out of the way. Has they filmed something. Marie didn't see the point. But Dylan looked like he was into it. So she kept out of the way. In her room on her iPad. She was tired as well. And didn't feel like being around his friends.
The rest of them was in the living room talking.
"Where is Marie?" Sam said.
"Not her thing, she's tired as well. She's spent most of today. Finishing them documents". Dylan said. Putting his drink down. His puppy was running around. His friends was talking to him about some dancing. Which he agreed to.
Marie was in her room. She wasn't really feeling the social mood. So she switched on her tv. And laid down on the bed.
They was talking about some dance thing. Dylan knew it would send people crazy. He joined in. Doing the video. But his mind was going back to Marie. Once it was done. He went to her room. Knocking on her door.
Marie got up and opened it.
"Oh hi, why did you knock?" Marie said letting him in.
Marie sat down on the bed. And paused the film.
"Are you ok?" Dylan said.
"I'm ok. Really don't feel like mixing with your friends. If I'm honest they make me rather uncomfortable". Marie said.
Dylan looked at her. He understood where she was coming from.
"I'm sorry". Dylan said.
"Dylan, you don't need to apologise for your friends. They should take a look on how their making other people feel. Its not your fault". Marie said.
"Is that why your in this room, and not in my room?" Dylan said.
Marie had hardly been in her room she was spending most of her nights in Dylan's room. Dylan felt annoyed. His friends was making the women he liked a lot uncomfortable in his own home.
It shouldn't be like that. He decided to speak to them about this. As it wasn't fair on either Marie or him.
The video of them was soon up on social media. It quickly went viral fans asking for more pictures of Dylan. A few fans also asking where the women was that he was seen with at the party. But it was seen she wasn't in the video. So fans wanted to know where she was.
The comments didn't get answered about her. Dylan knew this would go around quickly. But he wasn't expecting people to be asking where the person was or if she was still living with him.
Some fans was annoyed. And felt like these friends weren't really his friends and was only trying to get notice more. And by having Dylan in there videos. They knew it would work.
Marie saw the video and didn't say much. She honestly didn't see the point about posting every thing they did online. There was no need for it. Unless you was trying to get a attention and Dylan seemed to be the ideal way of getting that attention.
Marie didn't comment or even retweet.
She put her phone down. And looked at her iPad. It was now fully charged so she carried on where she left off. Watching tv as well.
Meanwhile Dylan was back in the living room with his friends.
"Still no Marie?" Jess said.
"No, she's busy with things. Plus she really doesn't feel comfortable around you guys". Dylan said.
Making them look at him.
"You can tells she's Andrew's cousin". Sam said.
"What is that suppose to mean?" Dylan said.
"She's a female version of him. He doesn't like a lot of the stuff she don't. What we are doing is a bit of fun". Sam said.
"Yes and Marie understands that. She just doesn't see the point in posting every thing on social media all the time. Or partying. Especially as we are in a pandemic. Plus we aren't teenagers no more. We are fully grown adults. I don't see the point in posting every thing on line either. But you guys don't need to make her feel uncomfortable about things. She is from England. They have different ways of doing things there. Plus me and her get along good". Dylan said.
"Yes we noticed that. Plus it's our choice if we put things in our accounts". Jess said.
"Yes I know it is. But not of Marie, and maybe tone it down about me as well. You know I'm a private person. If I wanted things about me on social media. I would put them up myself. So I don't. Respect our choices has well. Ok. And don't make her feel uncomfortable in my home ok?" Dylan said.
Making it clear to his friends he wasn't putting up with this towards Marie. She was a quest in his home and they needed to respect that.
"Ok fine". They all said.
A few of his friends was annoyed with this. But Dylan didn't really care. That wasn't his problem.
As the evening went on. His friends said there byes and left his home. Marie heard them leave and came out of the bedroom. She stood in the doorway and looked at Dylan.
"I see they left you with the tidy up!" Marie said. Making Dylan jump about 10 feet into the air.
"Jesus I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that". Marie said. Walking over to him standing in front of him.
"It's ok. I thought you was a sleep, I didn't expect to see you until the morning". Dylan said.
"Yeah well. I'm awake plus hungry". Marie said. As she walked to the fridge. Getting things out to make a sandwich.
"I spoke to them about making you feel uncomfortable?" Dylan said.
"Oh. Ok. What did they say?" Marie said.
"They won't be doing it again. If they do let me know ok". Dylan said. Standing behind her. Marie turned around and looked at him.
"I'm not trying to come between you guys. You know that right?" Marie said.
"Yes I know. But they shouldn't be acting the way they are. You a guest here plus a friend of mine". Dylan said.
"A friend who sleeps in your bed". Marie said. Dylan blushed and looked at Marie.
"Yeah well. We both like the company". Dylan said.
"And the cuddles". Marie said. Turning back around and finishing making her sandwich.
"Yeah well that too". Dylan said putting his arms around her waist and his chin on her head. Marie put her hands over his arms and lent into his body.
They stood like that for a while. Dylan loving having her in his arms. It had been a day well half a day of not cuddling her.
"Come on let's go and lay in bed". Dylan said. Marie picked up her plate and looked at him. She walked off and went into his room. Dylan couldn't help but smile. She got dressed into some clothes and got into his bed. Eating her sandwich. Soon laid down. As Dylan walked into the room. Putting a few things on the side. He climbed into bed next to her. Her cuddling into him.
If his friends could see them now. A lot of questions would be getting asked. But right now Dylan wasn't thinking about that. He just wanted to hold her in his arms for the night.
