The man who annoyed me the most out of everyone in the entire world stood right in front of me, flashing that perfect little smile and boasting about all the great things he had done and wrote about. Gilderoy Lockhart. I hardly took in anything he said. It went in one ear and out the other. I stared at his perfect teeth as he kept that stupidly handsome and annoying grin on his face.

"But let's not talk about that," he chuckled. "I didn't get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at him." He laughed again and it took all the strength in my body to not groan out loud. "Now, be warned. It is my hob to arm you against the foulest creatures known to wizard kind. You may be facing your worst fears in this classroom."

I shook out of my bored daze and focused, slightly interested in what he meant.

"Know that no harm can be forced upon you while I am here. But I have to ask you not to scream..." I leaned forward in my seat and he placed his hand on top of a large rattling cage that was covered with a raggedy cloak. "You'll only provoke them!" He yanked the cloak off and I stared into the cage, my lips slightly parted. Was he serious? I slumped back in my seat with a sigh when I realized they were only crazed Cornish Pixies.

"Cornish Pixies?" Seamus Finnigan, a boy from Gryffindor, asked with a grin. I sniggered and rested my chin on my hand.

"Freshly caught Cornish Pixies!" Lockhart defended. "Laugh if you will, Mr. Finnigan! Pixies can be deviously tricky little blighters. Lets see what you make of them!"

He quickly opened the cage and the pixies can flying out like a swarm, screaming in excitement. I scooted back in my seat quickly and ducked under the table as everyone scrambled to get out of the room. I felt something tugging at my hair and turned my head to the side to see a little blue pixie yanking on a thick lock of my hair. It grinned up at me with its chipped teeth and I shooed it away. I stood up from under the desk to notice that the entire room was already trashed and Neville was hanging on the chandelier.

"Petrificus Totalus!" I pointed my wand at two that were zooming towards me and they fell to the ground in a full body bind curse.

"Come on now, round them up!" Lockhart encouraged from the front of the room. "They're only pixies!"

I glared over at him and restrained myself from firing a curse at him. He began fighting with three of the pixies over a portrait of himself. I turned back to the room and began firing body bind curses into the air. Most of the class had already left. It was just Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, and I, and Neville was hanging by the chandelier still.

One pixie snuck up behind me and snatched my wand from my grasp, throwing it across the room. I gasped as it started attacking me, pulling my hair and attempting to scratch at my face. I put my hands up over my face and dropped to my knees, crawling to my wand. I picked it up from the ground and stood up quickly, flipping my hair up and causing the rabid pixie to go sailing to the other end of the room. Without hesitation, I pointed my wand to the ceiling and screamed, "Immobila!" Hermione yelled it at the same time and all the pixies stopped in their spots, floating around in the air with shocked facial expressions. Hermione and I grinned at each other and then I looked around the room, rolling my eyes when I realized Lockhart had ran out of the room as well. Moron.

Draco was in front of my face as soon as I entered the common room. "Sierra! Guess what?"

I blinked and flinched back. "What?" I asked with my eyes wide, pushing him back lightly.

"I made the Quidditch team!" His eyes were shining with excitement and pride. I just had to smile.
