Dumbledore's words echoed through my head as I made my way back down to the common room. You're stronger than most people would believe. I was heading back down to the common room because I didn't feel like going back into the Great Hall just to have to respond to a million questions.

When I entered the chilly dungeons, I was surprised to see a very confused looking Gryffindor.

"Harry?"

He spun around quickly, and when he saw me, his cheeks went pink. "Hey...there you are." He scratched the back of his neck as he approached me. "I just came to see if you were alright. I saw what happened in the Great Hall and all. What was that all about?"

"Oh. That." I shifted from heel to heel as he studied me. Then I looked down to the ground. I felt like he shocked me when he surprisingly grabbed my chin gently and turned my head to look up at him. I took a step back, allowing his hand to fall from my face before I cleared my throat. "I was just a bit mad--"

"A bit mad?" He scoffed. "You flipped the Slytherin table, had the Ravenclaw table thrown across the Hall, and sent Parkinson to the Hospital Wing without saying a word!"

My cheeks heated up and I chuckled. A part of me was proud, while something deep inside me knew I should've controlled myself. "Well--yeah. This sure is a lot of stress, isn't it? And I heard we need to go down and--they're going to inspect our wands later."

"Oh yeah," Harry said. "But yeah--lots of stress. And on top of it all, Ron isn't even speaking to me."

I raised my eyebrows. "Why not?"

"Hermione says he's jealous."

"Well who would've be jealous of a shot to die?" I retorted, rolling my eyes.

"That's what I said!" Harry laughed, but then it quickly stopped. "I can't believe it, though. My best friend of all people. He was the one person I was sure would believe me...besides you and Hermione you know."

I nodded. "I know how you feel. My friend Daniels isn't talking to me either. He thinks I was glory hungry I guess."

"Great start to the year, eh?"

"Perfect," I gritted out, trying not to think about the first time I met Daniels, which would just make my mood plummet further.

A lot of worried chatter echoed down the dungeon corridor and I looked over my shoulder to see Draco, Airam, Jalen, Theodore, Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle, were sauntering down the corridor. None of them had noticed us.

"She's probably still up with Dumbledore," Jalen groaned.

"Or maybe she's in one of the cells down here," Theodore said.

"She lost her temper, she didn't murder anyone," Draco snapped.

"She got pretty close," Blaise noted. "Did you see what she--"

Draco held up his hand to silence him as his eyes landed on Harry and I. They were mostly set on Harry as his face contorted into a scowl. "What are you doing down here, Potter?" he demanded.

"Checking on Sierra. What are you doing?" Harry asked, rather coolly.

"First of all, my common room is down here. Second of all, I was coming to do the same thing. She doesn't need you to check on her when she has me--"

"Well I got here first so great job, Malfoy--"

"Okay, enough, enough," I groaned as I stepped toward Draco to stop him from spitting out another response. "There's been enough fighting for today."
