Yosuga ran as fast as she could. She cursed herself for being so unbelievably stupid. She had stayed up too late last night on the roof and slept in a whole thirty minutes. Then she had to get dressed and her sister wouldn't leave her alone, making her forty five minutes late. She sprinted out of the compound and to the training grounds, pushing herself as hard as she could. She realized she had little to no endurance, and speed was definitely not one of her strong suits. Something she would have to work on. She grit her teeth as she ran. There's another thing to add to the list of things she couldn't do. She can't get her kekkei genkai right, she doesn't have a lot of chakra, and she's just now finding out how slow she is and how little stamina she had. What could she do right? She was so weak. She hated herself for it. She wanted to get stronger- no, she needed to get stronger if she ever hoped to beat her sister.

She finally came to a halt at the designated training ground, panting with her hands on her knees.

"You're late!" She heard two voices yell. Her heart went haywire with fear. She didn't want to be punished. Her scars from the other night were still healing. Without thinking, she clapped her hands together and bowed.

"I'm so sorry! I woke up late- it won't happen again! I-" Her quick and worried voice was cut off by another.

"Whoa, whoa, hey. It's alright." Naruto waved his hands, trying to calm her down while Sakura have her a worried look. She finally looked up with worry and fear in her eyes. Naruto's eyebrows furrowed at how scared she looked. They didn't mean to frighten her. Yosuga's eyes widened at who it was she was bowing to. Letting out a sigh of relief, she quickly stood up straight, her fear quickly leaving. She looked around for the missing jounin.

"Kakashi is not here?" She questioned. Naruto shook his head slowly, still scared of upsetting her again. "So he doesn't know I'm late?" Naruto shook his head again. She sighed in relief for the second time, laying her hand over her heart, feeling it calm down. She won't be punished, then. She's okay. "Okay." She mumbled.

Walking past the two genin, Yosuga noticed they were staring at her with worry filled eyes. She had made a scene. Even Sasuke was giving her a questioning side look. Her face twisted into a scowl, glaring at each of them. "What?" She spat, making them look away from her, continuing to do what they were doing before she came.

She huffed angrily, sitting in the grass. She hated when people worried over her, it made her feel small and helpless. Yosuga closed her eyes and breathed in the subtle smell of flowers and earth. At some point, she dosed off.

"You're late!" She heard Naruto and Sakura yell for the second time that day. They had been sitting there for a while without speaking. Yosuga opened one of her eyes to see their white haired Sensei in front of them.

"Ah, sorry. I got lost on the path of life." Kakashi made up a random excuse. Yosuga opened both her eyes and lifted an eyebrow.

"The path of life?" She asked to which Kakashi nodded and went on to explain the rules.

After he explained, Yosuga bit her lip, underestimating herself while Naruto overestimated himself.

"Ha! How are you going to dodge a kunai when you couldn't even dodge that eraser?" Naruto laughed.

"The class clowns are the ones you have to worry least about. The losers." Kakashi simply shot back, enraging Naruto. "Now, when I say start..." Kakashi wasn't able to finish as Naruto ran at him with a kunai. Yosuga sighed and shook her head at him. Kakashi swiftly took the kunai and pinned it to the back of Naruto's head. Sasuke, Sakura and Yosuga tensed. "Ah, ah. I didn't say start yet."

Everyone positioned themselves and waited for his signal.

"Okay... start!" Everyone quickly jumped for cover in the forest around them. Everyone except Naruto. Yosuga got as far away as she could from the clearing, thinking of ways she could get the bells with her minimal strength. She sat in a tree for a couple of minutes, thinking up a strategy.
