The Fight

"What the hell is going on!?"

Maseo had been called on a mission right in the middle of their training, making him sigh and Yosuga roll her eyes. Though she didn't care that much. Maseo left with a bow, and Yosuga was left panting in the middle of the training grounds.

She was tempted to just go to Daichi's house and sleep, but it was only sunset so she supposed there were still some things she could do.

She decided one more visit to the hospital wouldn't hurt, so after meeting up with Kakashi, that's where she went. Only to find her boys in some sort of death match on the roof. And Sakura right in between their final blow.

"Sakura!" She shouted, darting towards her and pulling her out of harms way as Kakashi grabbed the boys and threw them towards the water tanks on the roof, redirecting their blows. She furrowed her eyebrows, looking around. Were they trying to kill each other? Yosuga looked down at Sakura, who propped herself up on her elbows as Yosuga stood up. "What the hell were you thinking!? You could have gotten yourself killed!" Sakura flinched back a bit, standing up as well.

"I-I'm sorry, I-" Tears formed in her eyes. "They wouldn't listen to me!" Yosuga rubbed her face with an aggravated groan.

"What are you guys doing up here on the roof?" Kakashi asked. "You went a bit too far for just a fight, you two."

"I leave for a couple hours and you're locked in a deathmatch! What the hell is wrong with you two!?" Yosuga adds. The boys didn't answer, though. They didn't even look at her. Sasuke stood, pulling his arm out of the tank, making the water spill everywhere. Naruto stayed crouched by his tank, leaving a large dent with water pouring out of the small hole it created.

"Were you trying to kill Naruto, Sasuke?" Kakashi wondered. "What are you doing giving yourself over to a sense of superiority?" Sasuke glared at him. "The size of the Chidori there wasn't one to be aimed at a comrade if the same village. Why such infantile behavior?"

Naruto finally looked up with a glare directed at Sasuke. They stared at eachother for a moment, before Sasuke jumped off the roof, leaving a sighing Kakashi, an infuriated Yosuga, a glaring Naruto, and a crying Sakura in his wake. Yosuga pinched the bridge of her nose, huffing out a breath of air.

"Yosuga..." Sakura sniffed. "I'm sorry." Yosuga lifted an eyebrow.

"For what?"

"For being stupid. I-I don't know, I just... I'm so useless. You could have so easily stopped them but I didn't know what to do and they wouldn't listen to me so I just ran and all I know how to do is cry-"

"Sakura." Yosuga frowned. "Don't say that. Those two are idiots. There's not a lot anyone could have done in that situation. That fight was bound to happen sooner or later."

"But they listen to you. You could have stopped them-"

"Even if that were true, I wasn't there. You were. You did all that you could. Don't blame yourself." Yosuga put a hand on her shoulder. Sakura looked down at her feet, wringing her fingers in silence for a moment.

"...Sasuke... Something's wrong with him. Nothing I could ever say will get through to him. But maybe... maybe you could talk to him? Please?" She pleaded with watery eyes. Yosuga looked at her a moment before sighing.

"I'll try." She mumbled, turning to leave. "I don't know what makes you think I'm so special, but I'll see what I can do." A small smile took Sakura's face as Yosuga left the roof.

"Thank you.. Yosuga."
