Yosuga looked around at the group of boys surrounding her with her arms crossed. It was morning now, and the news of Sasuke's departure had met most ears by now. Apparently Tsunade had made Shikamaru a part of the team that would retrieve him and Shikamaru wanted her to come, but Yosuga already knew it wouldn't work. Nothing was going to bring that asshole back. Daichi was next to her, a questioning look on his face. Yosuga sighed.

"I can't go. Sorry." She answered Shikamaru.

"Why not!? Don't you want to save Sasuke!?" Naruto questioned. "And you're a Chunnin too, right? So you should definitely go!"

"Of course I want to go, but I have a mission of my own I need to leave for soon." Yosuga ran a hand through her hair.

"It would have been beneficial for a Shimizu to be on the team, but if you have a mission I suppose there's no getting around it." Shikamaru sighed.

"Well if it's a Shimizu you need, I'm free I guess." Daichi shrugged.

"There you go. Knock yourselves out."  Yosuga waved them off, turning to walk away.

"You don't seem very caring of Sasuke's leaving." Neji observed.

"Sasuke is a Shinobi of the Leaf  Village, and he left. Sorry I'm not in tears about it, but I do hope you bring him back." Yosuga raised her fist at them with a smirk. "So I can punch him in the face."

It didn't take very long. A couple hours, maybe more. They all came back, one by one. Some of them were in a serious condition, some of them only with minor injuries. Yosuga's mission didn't take long, and she was back almost just as they were.

Now, she raced to the hospital, her heart racing and Maseo left in the dust.

"What the hell happened!?" She burst into the intensive care unit. She knew Shikamaru would be there, since that's where Choji was being held. "Answer me, Nara!"

Shikamaru wouldn't meet her gaze, too ashamed of himself to look at her. Yosuga noticed Temari sitting across from him, on the other side of the hall. She pointed a finger at her.

"I have a bone to pick with your brother." She said, making Temari lift an eyebrow as Yosuga turned back to Shikamaru. "Where is Daichi." She demanded.

Shikamaru Nara. She held him in such a high respect, and vice versa. She knew this wasn't all his fault, but that didn't make her any less pissed. He still wouldn't look at her, twiddling his thumbs.

"He's upstairs." He finally spoke. Yosuga didn't spare him another glance before darting upstairs to see that idiot Daichi.

"Jeez, Daichi." She sighed. She found him in a hospital room, sitting up on the side of his bed. Bandages covered most of his body, but that was about it. She rolled her eyes at the sheepish grin on his face. "I hate you so much." She whispered, pulling him in for a hug.

"How was your mission?" Daichi asked, hugging her back. She sighed into his shoulder.

"Not at eventful as yours, I imagine." She pulled away. She tittered. "You look terrible."

"Really? I honestly think I look good in bandages."
