Confessions: 1- I love you. 2- You dont know everything about me

Of course, Reyna hadn't meant to forget about it.

Thalia had planned a picnic dinner for the two of them, the first time in a few weeks that they were able to have a proper date. Reyna had honestly been excited, going as far as to plan her outfit a few days beforehand. She had smiled over her work thinking about seeing Thalia again, and getting to spend time with her.

But Thalia didn't know that. All Thalia knew was that Reyna hadn't shown up.

And really, Reyna just got so caught up in her work that she hadn't even noticed the sun sinking over the horizon as Thalia sat in the field near the entrance to camp Jupiter, waiting for Reyna to get there.

When it became apparent that Reyna wasn't going to show, and all the preparation Thalia had put into this was a waste, it was safe to say she was unhappy. But neither were prepared for what happened afterward.

Reyna heard a knock on her office door and looked up from her desk. "Come in!" She called, and no sooner had the words left her lips that the door swung open and revealed a fuming Thalia, probably more angry than Reyna had ever seen her. Reyna looked at her, a bit confused for a second, until she looked down and saw a crumpled bouquet in Thalia's left hand. All at once Reyna realized her mistake.

"Oh gods, Thalia, I'm so sorry! I just didn't realize what time it was and I got so caught up in some plans—"

Thalia fixes her a cold stare and interjected. "Right! Because your work is so much more important to you than me, is that it?!"

Reyna was a bit taken aback but realized that she probably didn't deserve Thalia's good graces right now. "No, no Thalia, that's not it and you know that."

"Do I?" She shot back. "Honestly, I'm not sure anymore. I went through all these things to try to give us a perfect night, and you don't even bother to show up!" The crackle of electricity in Thalia's eyes that normally Reyna loves to see was actually starting to scare her a little bit.

"Please, that's not what happened at all. I'm really sorry, Thals, and—"

"NO! You don't get to 'Thals' me right now! Seriously, Reyna, am I not an actual priority of yours?" Thalia looked at her exasperatedly.

Reyna was starting to get a bit upset as well. "That's not fair, you know I love you, it just slipped my mind, ok?"

"Well then act like it. Gods Reyna, ACT LIKE IT!"

Thalia raised her hand, and Reyna reacted purely out of instinct. Turning her head away, she shrunk back and held her hands up, protecting her face from an impending hit.

It never came. Obviously, it never came. Because Thalia wasn't and never would be her father.

Reyna realized what she had done after a moment and slowly opened her eyes, mortification sweeping through her in waves. She slowly put her arms down and turned back toward Thalia, not knowing what to expect.

Thalia was looking between the hand that she had raised to run through her hair and back to her girlfriend. She was looking at Reyna in a way she never had before. Like she was trying to decipher what had taken place before her eyes.

No one spoke for a minute, and all the while it felt like the air inside the office was getting thinner, and Reyna couldn't breathe, couldn't think, couldn't do anything but stare into Thalia's eyes.

They hadn't talked about Reyna's father since the Giant war. The whole time they'd been dating Reyna hadn't opened up about it, careful to not let Thalia in to such a dark part of her life. Reyna had convinced herself it made her weak, that maybe Thalia wouldn't think of her the same way.

"Reyna..." Thalia whispered, breaking the deafening silence.

Reyna leveled her gaze and saw that Thalia's eyes had softened considerably. She still stood silently, giving Thalia the opportunity to continue.

"Reyna, your dad... did he, did he ever hit you?" Thalia questioned quietly.

Reyna just looked down, and that gave Thalia the confirmation she'd been looking for.

"Oh, Princess..." Thalia rushed to her and threw her arms around Reyna as the other grip buried her head in Thalia's shoulder; finally allowing the dam to break, she cried, soaking Thalia's shirt.

"I'm sorry Thals. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you... I just, I couldn't." Reyna gasped out between sobs. It felt good to cry, knowing someone was here for her.

"Rey, no, gods, don't apologize. Not for him. You did nothing to deserve being a daughter to such a scum bag of a human being." Thalia pulled Reyna from her spot on Thalia's shoulder and swiped some tears away from her cheeks.

"You know I would never hit you, right? I love you, so much, and even if we argue over things sometimes, I will never, ever, lay a hand on you. Get it?"

Reyna nodded and gave Thalia a quick kiss. "But I am sorry. I'm sorry I forgot about our date."

Thalia gave a small smile. "It's ok, Rey-Rey. I overreacted. We can always go on another date soon."

"Yeah." Reyna whispered, cuddling back into Thalia. Can we go home now? I can... I can tell you more, explain more, there."

Thalia nodded, picked Reyna up (which Reyna tried to pretend she didn't like) and carried her back to the villa.

They would get through this together. Just like they always had.

Just like they always will.

Hey y'all. I'm going to be honest with you guys here, I have lost the motivation to continue this story. If you'd like to to continue please tell me, but just know that updates are going to be sporadic. Sometimes it'll seem like I fell off the face of the earth and sometimes I'll update twice a week. IDK yet but with school starting soon and it being my first year of high school, I have other things to concentrate on (and yes, I'm going into freshman year, meaning I'm 14).

Thanks for being such amazing readers and for the comments, they really make my day. I love you all and I'll see you the next time I update (I might start new stories with other ships but I'm not so sure).
