° The ball °

Jessica was in her dorm shared with Ambrosia Parkinson

The only Slytherin girl who wasn't a Bitch

"Hi Ambrosia" Jessica said when she saw her enter the room

"Oh hey Jessica. There's no need to call me Ambrosia, please say Brosie if you want" she said with a smile

"Right. Then you can call me Jessie" she replied with a little smile

"Who are you going to the ball with?" she asked

"I'm going with Regulus Black. What about you?"

"I don't have a date yet and the ball is today" she said kind of sad

"Wait here" Jessica said leaving Brosie with curiosity and went downstairs to look for Evan.

"Rosier!" she called

"Hi-" he started saying but was interrupted

"I need you to come!" she said and went back to the dorm but turned around when she noticed he wasn't following her "Now!"

"Oh! sorry" He replied quickly and followed her.

"Evan, she is Ambrosia Parkinson. Brosie, this is Evan Rosier" Jessica said happily "Neither of you have a date, so as I am a great matchmaker, you two have to go together"

"I mean... You're pretty but I really don't know you" Evan said looking at Ambrosia with a shy expression

"Then I'll leave you two guys alone so you can talk. I have to meet Sirius at the library" Jessica waved them goodbye and left the dorm to go and find Regulu's brother.

Once she entered the library, she found Sirius and James talking to Lily Evans. They saw Jessica approaching to them and looked at her with a disgusting face

"Jessica I said I didn't want to ta-" James said but his sister interrupted him

"I'm not here for you dickhead. Sirius, would you mind coming a second with me?" She asked with a forced smile because of her brother.

"Yeah. See you later Prongs. Evans" Sirius said

"So?..." Jessica asked with a smile

"So, what?" The boy asked with confusion

"You dumb. What happened with Remus?"

"Oh- He said yes!" He smiled

"Really?! I'm so happy for you!" She said shouting

"There's no need to shout, love" Sirius said

"Sorry. I got excited" She said scratching the back of her neck

"Who are you going with?" He asked

"Regulus" She said turning red and looking down so Sirius couldn't notice

"Regulus... OMG YOU'RE RED LIKE A TOMATO! YOU LIKE REGULUS!" Sirius shouted surprised

"Do you want China to listen? Because I think you got it" She said angry

"Girl, I knew you liked my brother" Sirius confessed

"Shut up Black, that's not true" Jessica told him

"Deny it forever and you'll never have him" the boy said and left

Once she entered her dorm, she found Brosie and Evan talking and laughing

"Oh, hi Jessie!" The girl said

"Hello. So, are you guys going together?" Jessica asked

"Yes. And if everything goes fine after the ball, we decided to go to Hogsmeade when we come back from the winter break" Evan said

"Now, Evan, as much as I would like you to stay, we have to get dressed because the ball is going to start in a few hours" Jessica told him

"Fine. See you later girls" Evan said and left the dorm. He went to find Regulus to give him the prize for winning the bet.

The girls took a shower and then they started getting dressed. When they both finished, they went down to the common room to meet their dates and they found the boys talking with Severus

"You look beautiful" Evan told Brosie

"Thank you. You look pretty nice too" she said blushing

"You don't look as I expected, but it's fine" Regulus said and Evan pulled him "I'm sorry- 'you look amazing Dear Jessica Euphemia. Please marry me'" he said sarcastically

"Oh shut up Black. You're awful" she said, laughing bitterly.

'Why did that hurt? Oh, I know. Because I'm in love with Fucking Regulus' she thought sadly

"Let's go," She said a little bit sad.

Regulus noted it

"Hey, are you fine?" he asked standing in front of her

"Yeah, I'm fine Regulus. Let's go" she said

"I don't believe you" he said

"I don't need you to believe me" she replied coldly

"What is happening to you?" He asked "And don't you dare lie to me"

"I don't need to tell you everything that's inside my mind. And if we don't go now, I promise I'm leaving you alone" she said walking to the great hall.

"Why are you acting strange?" He asked, now annoyed at her behavior, "Are you mad at me?"

"Oh I don't know" she said sarcastically "Maybe you should ask yourself" She said "Have a good night Regulus, I'm not going to the ball" she waved him goodbye and headed back to her dorm.

"Jessica- Jessica! You can't leave me alone! Please come back, we can talk" He said

"Actually I can Black" She said not even looking at him and she wiped some tears that began to show in her face.
