° Marriage °

"Jessica?" Regulus asked curiously. Jessica couldn't help but hug him.

"I missed you a lot" she said crying

"I- I missed you too" he said a little bit cold

"I'm so sorry for leaving. I'm sorry for never sending a letter. I'm sorry Regulus" she said desperately

"Don't blame yourself for something your 'parents' did" He said

"Do you know what happened to my parents?" she asked

"Yes. I'm so sorry" he said

"It's ok." Jessica smiled "It's very late and I really want to go home to process everything that just happened. Can we meet again tomorrow?" she asked

"I'll be in your house at 11.am" he said

"Fine. See you Regulus" she said leaving the train station

When she arrived at the Potter manor, she decided to lock herself in her bedroom and think about what happened at the train station. She tried to erase that old man off her mind, but she couldn't. Every image of every moment with that man was torturing her and killing her on the inside.

"Jessie, Regulus is here" James said waking her sister up

"Tell him I'll be there in five minutes" she said before changing her clothes into a basic green T-shirt and some jeans.

...

"Good morning" Jessica said greeting everyone in the kitchen

"Have you been crying?" Remus asked looking at her

"I- Yes" she answered

"Why?" Sirius asked

"Never mind" she said

"Jessieca, can we go outside?" Regulus asked the girl and the girl shook her head.

"Nice day, isn't it?" she asked and then turned to see a very nervous Regulus "What happened?"

"I just wanted to tell you something" Regulus said a little bit too nervous

"You don't have to be nervous" She said

"Ok. The thing I wanted to tell you is that I'm getting married this saturday and as you're going to be here, I thought you could come" he said

Ouch.

"Erm- Yeah, of course I'll go. You're one of the most important persons in my entire life, and I love to see you smile" she said, a little bit disappointed.

"Thank you Jessie, you're very important too," he said giving her a hug "I have to go back to my house and keep preparing everything. See you"

"See you Regulus" she muttered

When she got inside, she decided to go directly to her room. Sirius saw her and decided to follow

"He told you about the wedding, didn't he?" Sirius asked

"Yes" Jessica started crying on Sirius' shoulder

"Hey, there's no need to cry. The only reason he's getting married is because our parents decided. I'm sure he loves you and marrying that girl is killing him everyday" Sirius hugged her

"But he loves her. If not, he would run away just as you did"

"It's not that easy. Regulus was mother and father's favourite child so it is very difficult to do such a thing. But there's no doubt he loves you deeply. He cried a lot while you were in France. He didn't have the courage to send you a letter or say sorry."

"Thanks Sirius."

"You're welcome" he said
