"Jessie, are you ready?" James asked while knocking on his sister's door
"Give me one more minute James" she said quickly putting on her silver necklace
"Hurry up Jess" Sirius said
"Shut up Black" she yelled
"Let 's go!" James said when he saw Jessica opening the door
The Potter family used the floo network to arrive at the big manor where the party was supposed to be.
"Remember guys that this is a very important ball and I expect you to be nice" Euphemia said looking at James, Jessica and Sirius
"Yes mother. But what is the ball about? I mean, why are we even invited? This type of important events are mostly for pure-bloods family" Jessica asked
"It's because this is Albus Dumbledore's birthday."
"How's that man still alive?" James said
"James!" Euphemia said
"It 's true! He's probably 200.000 years old" Sirius said
"Merlin 's beard. I hope you both behave yourselves and don't you dare to ruin his birthday" Fleamont said
"Let's get in" Euphemia said knocking on the door to get inside the house
"Ah! The Potter family. Nice to see you" Dumbledore said
"Happy birthday Albus" Euphemia said giving him a gift and shaking hands
"There was no need for you to bring a gift" He said "But thank you so much. Please come in" Dumbledore said doing a hand gesture for the family to get in
Once they all were inside the huge manor, they saw a lot of people they knew and decided to separate and go with each of their friends.
"Hi Jessie" Someone said behind her
"Evans" She said
"Call me Lily, please" the ginger said
"Evans is fine" Jessica said
"Why are you so angry with me?" She asked
"It's not because of you. It's because of this" Jessica said pointing at everyone
"What's the matter with the party?" Lily asked
"Don't you see? This old man only cares about people that are like him. Do you see someone from Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin? Because I don't" Jessica said
"You're a Slytherin"
"I'm here because my whole family is in Gryffindor and they couldn't let me out of this" Jessica answered and then left to sit at an empty table. She saw her brother with the rest of the Marauders and couldn't help but smile. Then her smile vanished when she remembered her conversation with her father about Beauxbatons. She was scared about everything.

"See you guys! Please behave well and don't forget to say hi to Remus and Peter when you arrive" Euphemia said while she saw James, Sirius and Jessica enter the Hogwarts' express
"Hello dear friends'' Evan said entering the compartiment where Jessica, Regulus and Severus were sitting "How were your vacations?" He asked
"Mine were really boring. I spent the whole time inside my house" Severus said
"I went to America during the second week" Regulus said "I kinda told my family I was going to be at the Parkinson's so they believed and I escaped"
