"Mila, breakfast is almost starting." Lonnie said, shaking her roommate awake, but Mila didn't budge. It wasn't the first time the two of them were in this situation, but this time Lonnie did not have the usual patience.
"Very well, have it your way." Lonnie huffed, opening one of Mila's drawers. She grabbed the gong and started banging.
Mila immediately woke up, glaring and cursing at the daughter of Mulan, who couldn't stop laughing at her friend's reaction. "Glad to see your awake."
"I hate you so much right now," Mila muttered bitterly, stepping out of bed to get dressed.
"Want me to save you a seat?" Lonnie asked, one hand on the door handle as she planned to go to the cafeteria while Mila got changed.
The young dragon shrugged. "I'll be there, no need to save it for me. Oh! But if you can grab me some pancakes, then you'll be a real doll." She laughed at her roommate who shook her head and left.
Mila rubbed the remants of sleep out of her eyes as she got changed, heading to the cafeteria as fast as she could.
"Morning cutie." She smiled at Mal when she walked past her and the other vk's.
The vk's snickered when Mal glared at the dragon descendant. "Don't call me that." She snapped.
"Fine, sunshine." Mila chuckled, putting her hands up in mock defense. "You guys wanna sit with me and my friends today?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
"What? Think we can't find a spot on our own?" Mal huffed, almost looking for a way to get offended.
Mila smirked and leaned in close to her. "Not at all, little fairy."
Mal glared at her, her eyes turning a neon green. Mila's eyebrows raised, amused by Mal's attitude as she felt her own eyes change too.
When both of their eyes turned back to normal, Mila couldn't help but laugh.
"Guess we have the same limit, sugarcube!" She smirked.
"Apparently." Mal smiled a little, taking a step back to create more distance between them.
"Either way, slingshots." Mila said, shaking her head. "Time to eat!" She smiled, when she noticed the vk's following her to the cafeteria.
"Crap, it's full." Mila sighed at the crowded place, most seats already taken.
"Well, let's go with the original plan then." Carlos sighed as the vk's left the room once they got their food.
"Mila!" Lonnie called. "I got you a seat." She smiled.
"Thanks, but you can give it to someone else." Mila said, glancing at the direction the vk's went as she grabbed her own breakfast.
"Where are you gonna sit then?" Allie asked.
"With another dragon." Mila smirked, following the vk's.
