The next day, Mila could only describe as literal hell.

Having to deal with the consequences of Audrey's scheme and having to inform her family of her current situation and the fact that only Hades could save her was... Inconvenient and annoying.

Mila was very much aware that she should probably feel more sympathetic towards Audrey's situation, but everytime she moves her shoulder just the wrong way, she gets a strong reminder that the princess very much tried to hurt her and her friends.

Her red blazer was hanging off her shoulders and she cursed how often it dropped as she made her way to Audrey's room, considering she was part of the court she had to be present when Hades arrived.

Queen Leah had at first denied any of Audrey's misdeeds, claiming she must have been under some kind of spell. But the evidence was undeniable.

Mila sighed softly to herself as she straightened her back before entering Audrey's dorm. She noticed the adults tensing up before relaxing, apparently fearing Hades even when he was their only hope.

She immediately approached Ben, who looked just as nervous as he did the first time his dad let him do a royal council meeting alone with the Sidekicks Act.

Of course Mila was there for him then, just like how she'll be here now. Atleast that's what she told herself as she softly squeezed Ben's hand before sitting down in one of the pastel pink chairs.

Mal and Carlos were there as well, Carlos given that he was going to be co-king and Mal to help keep Hades in check, as his daughter.

Queen Leah and FG were sitting on eather side of Audrey's bed while Adam was pacing the floor, Belle keeping an eye on her husband's blood pressure as she stood next to FG.

The whole room stayed silent as everyone waited for Hades to arrive.

Luckily, they didn't have to wait long. A sharp knock got everyone's attention as Adam opened the door.

Hades stepped trough, in chains and a bunch of royal guards holding him in place, to prevent him from making a run for it.

Mal walked towards her father, hands on her back as Mila got up from her chair, having Mal's back up as the dark fairy thanked her father for coming.

"Didn't have much choice," Hades commented, making Mal falter slightly.

Ben took a step towards the God of the Underworld. "Can you wake her?"

Hades blinked slowly. "Since when do heroes care about villains?" He asked the young king.

Ben hesitated, glancing at Audrey. "She's..."

"One of your own?" Hades guessed, laughing slightly at the hypocrisy.

Mila shifted her weight from one leg to another. "Don't think she'll get away unpunished," The young dragon said, earning everyone's attention.

Queen Leah looked horified and ready to talk back but as Mila's eyes shifted to their dragon shape, the queen prompty shut up.

"Your granddaughter commited a crime. Sleeping spells, turning the king into a Beast, stoning multiple people. You think she's gonna get away with a mere slap on the wrist?" Mila raised an eyebrow. "Not if I have anything to say about it."

Her statement had stunned most of them into silence, but Mal, Carlos and Ben shared a knowing look. They've noticed their friend's growing agitation with the way Auradon handled things. They simply hadn't gotten a chance to talk about it yet.
