 Chapter 28: Cuddle buddies

3rd person

Josh was lying in bed. Not his. He had accepted Ash's offer to stay at his place for a few days to catch up and stuff. Last night both of them had stayed up till late night... playing video games like old times. They'd been nostalgic sharing all old memories. Then they'd eaten various things, trying out weird dishes was something they both loved to do. There was also a lot of caffeine, the reason both of them could stay up. Well not Asher... he'd drank a lot of alcohol and Josh had to carry him to his room which was on the first floor of the huge mansion Ash lived in.

Ash had lived alone for as long as Josh remembered. His parents had died when he was two, so he lived with his grandparents. They died when Ash was just eight. Since then he has lived alone. His uncle used to send him money every month and there was a nanny to take care of him but, he told her off when he was eleven. He started to work for his aunt. She owned a restaurant. He still works there, actually he owns it. His aunt handed him the restaurant when she was too old to take care of it. He was the head chef, an amazing cook.

There was a knock on the door of his room and Asher entered with a tray in his hand. (Ashtray lol XD... sorry I had to!)

"How did you sleep bitch?" he asked placing the tray on the nightstand and sitting next to Josh, "you know, you should cut your hair, you look like a monkey."

"I slept well and no, I like it this way."

"But I don't."

"And?"

"I'll cut them if you don't."

"Shut up. Move, I need to do my morning routine."

"You have a morning routine?"

"How do you think I look handsome everyday?"

"Oh right. My handsome bitch," he said caressing Josh's cheek.

"Only yours babe," Josh said swatting his hand away.

"You disappoint me Josh," Ash pouted as Josh went towards the bathroom.

"Sorry Ashy, I already like someone. If only you'd have come a little earlier."

"Kate?"

"Duh."

"Finally you accepted."

"Heyy, I've never denied it. I've been dropping a lot of hints for her to pick up."

"My Josh is in loveee. Oh my god, what am I gonna do? I need to buy a brand new tux and then I've to make an appointment to the salon. I also need to buy gifts for you guys and probably find a date as my plus one. Oh, I'd also like to read a poem at your wedding or a speech. I need to plan a weddingggg. Lot of work, I need to get started. Do your morning routine or whatever and eat your breakfast."

"Calm down babe, I'm not getting married tomorrow, hell not till I am in late twenties. So shut up and wait for me, I'm almost done."

 

Josh came out to an empty room. He sighed and sat on his bed eating the delicious breakfast. After a few moments, his phone started ringing and Ash came in his room with a magazine in his hand, "choose one fast. I need to book it for you guys," he said as he ran towards Josh, replacing the plate in his hand with the magazine.
