"Good morning Miss President," you would hear students say to you as you walked by the gates of Namimori High. You would bow your head slightly and greet them back in a polite manner, though you were still not used to being called that. While the third years were taking their entrance exams, you were being trained to take over. Starting today, you were going to do your job and run the school, and it meant that the presidency belonged to you at this moment forward.
"Well, if it isn't President [Name]," Kusakabe patted your shoulder, "it's still hard to believe you have such power now. I remembered when we were chasing you around in your first year."
"Would you also believe that I'm also Kyoya's girlfriend too?" you laughed.
"It's amazing how things change," he sighed, still biting on the usual twig as he reminisced, "especially Kyoya. He's a bit more laidback..."
You nodded, agreeing with every word he said. The progressive change was apparent since now Kyoya allowed his subordinates to call him by his first name; he also didn't mind having AT MOST four people in the same room as him for long periods of time; it used to be only one person at a time. "Oh! I have to head over to his office before class starts."
"Don't let me hold you back," he pushed you forward, "he wouldn't be all too happy if I was the reason that you were late."
You chuckled in response and walked faster than normal to the inside of the building. Once you ran up the stairs, you headed straight to his office. As always, you knocked before entering, announcing your arrival to the carnivorous man. "Morning Kyoya," you smiled warmly at him, watching him yawn a bit until his charcoal orbs landed on you.
"What do you want to talk about?" he asked as he returned to the stack of papers, signing some of them in the process.
Though he never texted you back yesterday, you knew he read the text. You sat down in front of his desk before you began to tell him what happened. "Uh, well, remember how I was complaining about Tsuna always ignoring me?"
"Do I need to bite him to death?" he hummed as his attention was still focused on his papers.
"No, I don't think so," you responded nervously, "Anyways...I confronted him about it yesterday when he took me home, and here's the part I wanted to talk to you about..."
He growled, cuing you to continue as he was listening intently. You shifted in the chair as you thought of a better way to break it to him. He didn't notice your apprehension but could sense the seriousness of the situation by the tone of your voice.
"He said it was because he thought he liked me in a..romantic way," you stated, biting your lip as the grip on your skirt tightened. His pen stopped moving, though he still didn't look at you. "So to show him that he was being delusional, I sort of...."
"What?" he barked at you, almost snapping his pen in half.
"I kissed him," you answered, "though it only lasted half a second and he was totally disgusted afterwards--"
He glanced up at you, fury dancing in his orbs as he crushed the pen in his hand. He didn't speak due to the fact that his jaw was severely clenched.
"It didn't mean anything. It was just to prove that he liked me like a sister. It wasn't like how I usually kiss you and--"
"What if that herbivore actually enjoyed it? What would you have done?" he brought up the dreaded possibilities.
"I would have rejected him on the spot, sprayed bleach on his lips, and knocked him out so he could forget the kiss. I'm telling you Kyoya, it didn't mean anything to him or me."
