>>>>> December >>>>>

"Lambo, stop." You weakly ordered as you held his arm, holding him back from further disturbing the annoyed Gokudera. You already knew the habits and consequences that ensued because of the six year old kid's obnoxious behavior. You had been taking care of him for months already, since you desired to be on Reborn's good side. You realized early on that every single person in Tsuna's group had been approved by him, meaning they were good people. If he approached you, it meant that you were one of the 'chosen' ones, and you wanted it to stay that way.

Your weary eyes glanced at the calender as you began to feel the usual depression you felt every December. It was the time your grandfather became gravely ill due to the freezing temperature which caused you stay home from school in order to take care of him. It was also the month your father passed away, and then 3 years later, your mother abandoned you. That was years ago, though it still evoked a strong emotion that you usually stashed away from everyone except your grandpa.

"NO! HE STARTED IT!" Lambo whined, stomping his foot in a tantrum as tears and snot ran down his face.

"Lambo," you warned, a frown settling on your lips, "just pack, please."

He grumbled under breath as he went back to a random room in Tsuna's house to grab his stuff. It was moving day for the boy as you found it easier to babysit him in your house during this particular month; plus you hoped he would keep you sane, keeping you from drowning in your emotions.

"I can't believe Lambo is moving out like a grown man," Tsuna's mom, Nana, said in tears.

"He's only six," Gokudera muttered as he crossed his arms.

"He will be in good hands, I promise you." You held onto Nana's hand tightly. The both of you had gotten close during your time with Lambo, enough so that you had her on speed dial just in case.

"Come visit whenever you can," she pleaded.

You heard a honk outside the house and knew who it was immediately. "Lambo, Dino is here to pick us up!"

"LAMBO IS COMING!" The boy came running out without a bag in his hands as he passed you and ran out the door. He mentioned several times how he wanted to ride in such a fancy car, so he was excited to ride in the convertible sports car that Dino promised to use when it was moving day.

Sighing, you went to his room to grab all his bags to transport them to the car. There was a massive amount of luggage as some had large bulky items and others with clothes (which were all cow printed pj's). Carrying one of the bags, you suddenly felt the weight lift off your shoulders which made you turn around to a familiar face. "Oh hey, Dino!"

"I had a feeling you needed help," he chuckled as he held onto the rest of the bags. You laughed lightly as you followed him out the door, thankful that at least something good flourished from the fact that you were rejected. A friendship was born, one that helped you a lot as he constantly visited you...with food which was probably how he got you to warm up to him fast.

"Thanks," you smiled, throwing the bags in his trunk and slammed it closed. As you walked around the car to step in, you saw an afro poke out the window.

"VROOOOM VROOOM! LAMBO'S GONNA BE SO FAST!" he squealed with delight. You chuckled as you slid into the vehicle, placing the boy on top of your lap and held him tightly against you.

"Ok, I'll see you later!" Dino waved at Tsuna and Gokudera as he drove off. You just waved at them, muttering a few goodbyes before Dino pressed the gas pedal.

"I hope [Name] moves on," Tsuna sighed as he watched the car speed away, "I think Dino seems nice for her."

"Who's that woman hung over?" Gokudera asked, though he didn't have any particular interest to know.
