〔Dawning Memories〕[Hibari Kyoya] (KHR)

Chapter 33

"Exactly what are we doing?" you questioned as you felt a rather tight blindfold obscure your vision. The minute the two finished breakfast prepared by his subordinates, Dino had assaulted you, tying a black cloth around your eyes. You were about to beat the living daylight out of him, but he explained as quickly as possible that the first destination was a surprise.

"I'm not telling you just yet," Dino chuckled as he patted your head, messing up your high ponytail.

You grumbled in annoyance, smoothing your hair in the process as he continued to laugh. You enjoyed surprises if they were good ones, but being stripped of one of your senses wasn't exactly a good surprise. "How much longer?"

"A few minutes."

And a few minutes you waited in the moving limo until you heard it halt. You felt his hands intertwine with yours as he slightly pulled on your hand and guided you out the limo. You heard a door be pushed open and a blast of warm air caressed your face. Since it was already November, the city was as cold as can be which meant the buildings had to provide some type of warmth for its customers. 

Suddenly, a bright light replaced your darkened view, startling you as your eyes squinted to adjust. "Here we are!"

You could hear Hallelujah play as the background music as flying cherubs floating around and playing their trumpets. "NO WAY!"

"Yup!"

"You did not just bring me here."

"I did. Doesn't your friend spoil you?" he grinned.

You scanned the area which was littered in rock climbing courses but above all, the most advanced level one ever created. It was a course that took up the ceiling, making it so that the climbers felt as if they were climbing an actual cliff. You had always dreamed of climbing that type of course, and you were almost crying of joy from the sight of it.

"I figured that since Kyoya never took you rock climbing, and you so clearly mentioned how much you love--"

"Hurry!! Let's go!" you exclaimed as you rushed over to an employee to ask for the equipment.

He let out a throaty laugh as he followed you; he had already rented out their services for half the day, hence why there weren't any people occupying the building. It went unnoticed by you since you were already head deep into your happiness, but his previous statement he was attempting to finish was definitely noticed.

He was trying to make you see the difference between him and Kyoya which only made you more apprehensive with what was going on. You prayed that his "more than friends" attraction was just a misunderstanding, and you were just imagining things as always. You guys were just good friends. That's it.

After a few minutes of hastily adjusting the harness around yourself, you catapulted onto the most advanced wall even though some employees threw out warnings about it. You ignored whatever they had to say and jumped onto the highest rock molding you could reach, climbing upwards with raw power until you were hanging from the ceiling.
