Erin's POV

After Hailey and I's talk, we headed out to the cars. Jay and Hailey got in their car, Ruzek and Atwater in their car and Burgess and I rode together this time.

"How is working in New York?" Burgess asked.

"It's been different but good. It's not like there's less crime there than here." I answered.

"What makes it different from working here? The people?"

"Yeah, well the people are one thing. The atmosphere, the job everything is just different."

"I know I said it was time for a change and I was happy about moving to New York, But it also made me realize how much I loved working here with all of you." I continued.

"Are you saying you want to come back to work here?" She quickly looked over at me and then put her eyes back on the road.

"Maybe..." It flew out of my mouth.

We drove around the neighborhood of the most recent known location of the suspect. I looked out the window, looking for him, but never found him. I pulled the radio out to tell the others.

"5021 Lincoln. Has anyone got sight of the suspect?" I spoke into the radio.

"5021 George. No sight of him here." Jay said.

"5021 David. Nothing here either." Atwater answered.

We all drove back to the district and told Voight.
