Erin’s POV
The kidnapper dragged me outside in the dirt, threw me in the trunk of a car and drove away from the house. Surprisingly, he drove very chill, from what I felt, he didn’t go too fast. We drove for what felt like 15 minutes and then stopped. He picked me up, out of the car and carried me to a place between two silos. I then suddenly realised where we were. It was the place Hank buried Justin’s killer years ago, Kevin Bingham. There were a lot of flashbacks going through my mind, when I realised this was the spot. I got reminded that my brother, Justin, was murdered the day of his son’s first birthday. I remembered how miserable Hank was losing his biological son, having already lost his wife to chemo poisoning, after an idiot doctor gave Camille too much chemo to beat her cancer. This place was one of the worst and most depressing places for him to bring. I guess he must know Voight and I’d connection since he brought me here.
The copycat walked away for a while, leaving me there to myself, although I wasn’t physically tied up, I couldn’t move my legs to try and run away. He came back a little later with a shovel in his hand. I thought I knew where this was going. Now that he was walking toward me I could see his face fairly well, and noticed some features, that I’d seen before. His eyes especially, they felt very much like home in a way. He came closer, almost touched my nose with his, and handed me the shovel.
“Start digging” he said. I guess I was right about what he was about to make me do. He was making me dig to find dead Kevin Bingham.
My body was shaking as I grabbed the shovel from his hand. I started digging in the middle of the circle-like shape I was caught in, while he stared at me. All I kept thinking of was when Hank was going to figure out, that the copycat brought me here, or for the unit to at least check this area. Jay, Kim, Atwater and Hank definitely knows about this spot.
I was getting quite far with digging and started slowing down, to give the unit more time to find me before I dug all the way down. After a little longer I couldn’t slow down anymore and was really close to hitting the body, when it hit me, that I was the one with a weapon. Why didn’t I just hit him in the head with the metal shovel? Suddenly everything happened at once, I lifted the shovel up from the ground and ran toward the copycat, I hit him straight in the face with all the power I had, so he went unconscious, and started sprinting downtown. I heard sirens as I was running out of breath, so I slowed down and turned around to see the GMC-truck I let Jay drive for the first time.
