Voight's POV

*Phone ringing*

I pulled my phone out of my pocket. The name Wallace Boden popped up on the screen. I had a feeling he called about the case, maybe with a lead or a new victim.

"Voight" I answered the call

"This is Wallace Boden B25 CFD. I'm calling about a possible new victim of the Greg Yates copycat." Wallace said.

"Tell me."

"Firehouse 51 just had a call out to a house fire where a woman was trapped inside. My men went inside to do a search and found her lying on the ground, next to her was an open bottle of blue nail polish. My men picked her up and brought her out to the paramedics. Brett took a closer look at the woman's burnt hands and saw a hint of blue nail polish on her nails."

"That does sound suspicious. Where are they taking the victim now?" I asked.

"Chicago Med" Boden hurried saying.

"Alright, my team and I are on our way to Med now." I brought the phone down from my ear and ended the call.

"EVERYONE, that was Boden calling, we've got a possible new victim heading to Med right now." I announced to the team.

"Upton, Halstead, you two get to med quick the victim is being brought there." I directed the two of them.

"Copy that, sarge." Jay and Upton said at the same time.

They grabbed their coats and walked down the stairs.

"The rest of you, OFI has been called to the fire scene and are on their way, Burgess, Atwater, Erin and I will go to the scene to inspect further after OFI. I want Ruzek and Mouse to stay here in case the copycat's location pops up again. You copy?"

"Copy!" they all shouted.

Erin's POV

My body was shaking as Voight, and I got in the car. I was hungry but didn't want to interrupt our ride by saying I was hungry. When we got to the scene, we had to wait until OFI were done checking out the house and had found the cause of fire. As expected, it was ruled as arson, because they found a timing device at the starting point of the fire.

"Go ahead, our work it pretty much done." The OFI worker told us.

"Thank you." Voight said to them.

"Shall we go in?" Voight asked me.

"Sure, but where are we starting?" I wasn't sure where I'd prefer to start. The thought of seeing where the victim was, hurt inside. But at the same time, it was necessary to find out some of what happened.

"You and I go take a closer look at the cause of fire. Burgess and Atwater, you two go see the place the victim was found." He answered.

We parted with the others going into the house. I had a bad feeling in my stomach. For some reason I felt like the copycat was nearby, I was still hungry which didn't help.

"I found it!" I yelled to Voight when I got my eye on the starting point. It was near an electrical socket in the living room. The arsonist must've been smart because it, from far, looked like an electrical fire, but not smart enough cause there was an obvious timing device there earlier. OFI had taken the device with them to run some tests.

"I'll go take a round in the house, look for any more signs of the copycat." I walked away from the starting point and into the kitchen to analyze the place and rule out the option of the arsonist being anyone but the copycat.

As I got into the kitchen, I noticed that the fridge door was slightly open, it seemed suspicious, so I grabbed my glove and opened the fridge further to take a closer look. The door behind me suddenly opened, when I looked back at it, there was no one there so I turned my head back. Then I heard footsteps behind me so I tried to turn around again but never managed to turn all the way before someone grabbed me around waist and put a hand over my mouth so I couldn't scream for help.
