Chapter 14

Voight's POV

Someone was trying to reach me on the radio, so I turned the volume up to hear who it was, and what they wanted to tell me.

"5021 Henry. We've got her, we've got Erin." Hailey said over the radio. I felt an immediate feeling relief rush through my body.

"How is she?" I asked needing to know if she's okay.

"She's good. Shaken, but safe." Hailey said to calm me down.

My girl is safe, I was so worried that she was gonna be hurt or worse, dead. I can't handle another death, and especially not another family member. She's the only one I have left besides my grandson, who Olive moved away with after Justin died.

"Oh thank god. Where are you taking her? And does she know where the bastard is?" I asked needing the information, so we could, hopefully, catch the copycat and finish off this horrifying case.

"We're taking her by Chicago Med, to get her checked by Will. She just told Jay that the copycat brought her to the silos, and she hit him in the head with a shovel, so he's probably still there." Hailey told me.

"Alright, I'll send Burgess and Ruzek to the Silos and I'll meet you at Med." I told Hailey through the radio.

I got in the car, radio'ed Burgess and Ruzek, and told them to go to the silos. I then called Boden, to tell him, the location of the copycat and he sent squad there right away, so my men had some extra reinforcements.
