Today's the day where my proud nation of Indonesia celebrates it's Independence Day! Indonesia have come a long way from it's struggle for independence. From the dutch occupation, to the English, and the Japanese.
For 355 years, Indonesia have struggled. And in the day of 17th August 1945, we declared our Independence. And through another grueling 3 years defending it from the Netherlands once more, Indonesia secured it's place as a sovereign nation. O how I am proud with my beloved nation, and how I am grateful to be an Indonesian.
It's nice to be an Indonesian. Happy HUT RI 76th!!!
