Sin and EJ both have tears that aren't normal. EJ cries the tar substance from his eye sockets and Sin cries liquid gold. EJ & Sin's tears both possess healing properties.
Sin can manipulate the gold and make things from the gold. Like her jewelry. She also can heal people with it and make positions with her tears.
EJ also can heal people with his 'tears'. He also will give small vials of it to Sin so she can use it in potions. No one, not even Slender, Sin, or EJ, knows what the tar like substance is, what it's made of, or how it heals injuries.
