Chapter 1 - The world's weakest hunter

You stare at the young boy in front of you. There was no way he was any older than 16 right now.

You also realized that on the screen something very important popped up.

You smile at him.

You never bothered getting tested for your rank since you never participated in raids actively. The system gave you the option to sit back and watch all of Jinwoo's raids. Unfortunately, you had to pay a fine of staying in the ice region if you ever interfered with Jinwoo's raids.

You watch the architect fight, and you watch all the others leave him.

You open your abilities, and you use the only one you've never used.

"Y-Y/n?" Jinwoo stares up at you. "W-what are you doing here?"

Jinwoo notices there's a small glow emitting from your body.

"From here on out, I'll be your guide." A grin. "So listen carefully alright?"

Jinwoo nods, and before he can ask questions, he fades back into consciousness. He snaps up, and you jump slightly from the chair next to him. You were resting.

"Y-Y/n?"

"Jinwoo!" You gasped. "You good? No pain anywhere? Your leg still there?"

You lift up the sheets to check if he has any injuries on his legs, and Jinwoo shakes his head.

"N-No!" He's red. "I... I'm alright."

"Good," you grin. Two men in black suits show up at the door, and you look behind him.

Ah, Woo Jinchul. The man you swore you wanted to hatefuck one day. Attractive but you wanted to punch him when you first started the manhwa. Ah... wait.

"... please step out of the room first, we need to speak to Sung Jinwoo privately."

You nod and walk out. "Sharpened hearing."

You listen in on the conversation. Though you pretty much had it memorized.

"... so we suspect you of having had a second awakening."

"Seems like we got our hopes up for nothing."

The two leave the room and you spot Jinah approach the door.

"Jinah!"

"Ah Y/n-sunbae,"

"Drop the sunbae I've known you for 8 years by now," You grinned. "Jinwoo's inside. Let's go,"

"Didn't you arrive thirty minutes ago?"

"I got kicked out by the association members to see if Jinwoo got a second awakening." You sighed. "Jinwoo-"

Jinwoo stares at you, eyes half dead. You can see a screen in front of him. His finger's in the air.

"Y/n..."

"Oppa! Do you know how worried we were?" Jinah rushes to his side, and hisses. "Y/n skipped all of their classes for you!"

Right, you never actually showed that you had an awakening so you settled with getting a masters in portal science. You could've technically cheated and just written down the entire novel, but you didn't want to cheat your way through... yet.

Jinwoo stares at you in confusion. "Why...?"

"WELL JINWOO," You force a grin onto your face. "Someone decided to nearly die in the god-forsaken dungeon and I had a heart attack."

"Sorry..." Jinwoo mumbles.

"A-ah by the way, can you see this?" He points at the small screen in front of him.

You blink. "You good Jinwoo?"

"Stop getting yourself injured so much," Jinah flicks him on the forehead, and Jinwoo speaks up.

"a-aH Jinah don't you have other things to do at home?" Jinwoo shoves the girl out the room, and you sigh.

"Jinwoo." You stare at him. "I was being serious when I said I was your guide."
